"Nijiro-san, go sit over there, behind Yuri Suzuki. Suzuki-san, raise your hand," sensei instructed. A girl with sharp purple eyes and twin buns raised her hand.

A few students booed silently at the girl, but I dismissed it.

Her face was strangely... Green. She eyed me warily as if I were 10-days old bread. Unnerved, I sat at my assigned seat.

"I hope you'll help him with school material, Suzuki-san," sensei beamed and Yuri visibly paled. "Let's start with homeroom, shall we?"

She drawled on about class representatives and whatnot. I couldn't give a Swiss roll about any if that. If it wasn't Ren-sama, I wasn't interested.

Speaking of which, Ren-sama had possibly been asleep the whole time. He so happened to be in front of Yuri.

His hair was messy (and hot) as usual, and his uniform unkept; with the sleeves rolled to his elbows and uniform properly not tucked in.

Ren-sama...! This time I'll have you eat me! *^*)9

I'll make sure licks all over my body, leave bites and savour every single taste. I'll be soon having the feeling of his tongue lingering on me. I'll make it so that he'll love me agai–

I snapped out of my trance as the bell rung (somehow, before I knew it, it was lunch time). I was about to get up and rush over to Ren-sama however, almost the whole class had rushed over to me instead.

They started asking questions all at once that I wasn't able to make out any of it. It was a mixture and a bundle of words like, "adopted", "when," "how", "who!!"

With much effort, I tried to look through the sea of heads to spot Ren-sama. Dejectedly, I noted how he was already retreating somewhere. I silently wept.

When someone banged their hand on a desk, and cleared their throat, did the crowd calm down. My classmates turned to look at Yuri-san, her sharp eyes scanning over them with a hint of annoyance.

After a moment of silence, noises of disgust erupted from some students.

"Ugh, I'm out of here."

"Same..."

"Ah, so annoying..."

And before I knew it, the classroom was empty apart from us.

Yuri-san's eyes trailed from the door to me and her purple orbs glared into mine. "Y-Yuri-san?" I blinked, shrinking into the chair from her stare.

Her hardened stare wavered a bit, forehead beaded with sweat, as she opened her mouth to speak, "A-Are you re- really–" Her voice faltered, face pale, "–gay?"

"Gay?" I repeated, testing out the foreign word on my tongue. I had never heard the term before, nor could I recall anything close to it. I ponder on it for a while before turning back to Yuri-san.

"What does that mean?" I finally ask, my head tilting a bit to a side, questioningly.

Yuri-san looked startled and more uncomfortable. "You mean you... Don't know?"

I shook my head. With even greater difficulty and lots of paling and sweating, she finally mumbled, "I-it's when you like th- the same gender..."

I was definitely most biologically a male human anatomy. Since I confirmed the existence of a... mushroom. And Ren-sama most likely had a mushroom too so, I guess that makes me... Gay?

But that doesn't mean I like all mushrooms. So, how should I put it?

I smiled meekly at Yuri-san, lightly scratching my cheek. "I wouldn't call myself gay," My face heated up fuzzily and my smile widened, "I just like him."

At that time, Yuri-san's expression was unreadable. Her shoulders trembled as she lowered her face to her hands. "Th-that's still gayy, Nijiro-kunn," she mumbled into her hands, muffling her voice.

"Y-Yuri-san, are you alrig—?"

"I don't like gays." She says, cutting me off. Her purple orbs, now glossed as if she were teary, glared at me through her fingertips. "I was going to keep my distance from you but, since that's not an option anymore... I'll decide if I like you or not."

She huffed, turning away. Her shoulders were tensed and I noticed the redness on her ears. Yuri-san's sudden confession left me a bit stunned.

"C-come on, did you bring lunch? Let's eat." She mumbled and I smiled. Yuri-san wasn't really a bad person.

"Sure!"
