🖤Chapter 4: Abbott-
Morality makes a knock-knock joke to call Anxiety for breakfast.

Virgil/Anxiety's POV:
*Knock* *Knock*
Who in the world-?!

"Knock, knock!" I heard a muffled voice yell behind the door.
"Who... is it?"
"Abbott!" What-? Oh... oh...
"Abbott who?" I held in a chuckle. Patton could always get me to smile.
"Abbott time to eat breakfast!" Patton beamed as I opened the door just an inch. I still didn't have my makeup on.

"Yeah... I'll come down in a sec, hold up," I just... didn't want them to see me without my face covered.

"Okay, kiddo! I'll wait out here (heere)!" Patton told me as I shut the door. I hurried toward back into the bathroom.

Makeup. I needed to do my makeup. I needed to, I had to. I pulled out my black makeup bag, unzipping it to grab my normal, black eyeshadow and my "Fairest White" foundation.
Why did I need to apply makeup? Well, it covered tear tracks, blush, and eye bags. Simple as that.
I rubbed in the foundation, covering my red checks from the crying yesterday; it was a perfect color match to my own skin, very, very, very pale. I randomly brushed out the eyeshadow under my eye, right on top of my own, real eye bags and hiding my red-rimmed eyes from last night. Although it was sloppy, it would serve its purpose.

I opened the door to reveal the happy, pappy Patton. "Okay, Pat. Let's go," I said in the most monotone voice ever, trying to hide my real feelings. I didn't want to eat breakfast, I really didn't. I just... didn't want to eat.

Good, you're fat anyway.
...

Patton grabbed my arm in excitement, forcing me down the steps.
One step at a time.
