Chapter 2

I spiked the ball and Grayson ducked.
"I don't think you're supposed to dodge the ball." Ethan said patting Grayson's shoulder.
"You are when it's going a hundred miles an hour!" Grayson said with wide eyes.
"Oh please! That was like ten!" I yelled. They both turned around. Ethan smirked and Grayson blushed. We continued playing and the whole time I kinda just felt like someone was watching me. But at the same time I was also watching somebody. I mean like can you blame me Grayson looked so good. But in the end of course the Torres' won.
"So how did it feel to loose sooo badly?" Victoria said while elbowing Ethan.
"Ehh. Wasn't that bad." Ethan said smirking.
"You guys are really good, are you gonna try out for the team?" Grayson asked us.
"I mean I don't know." I said nervously.
"I mean school starts in a week. So you kinda have time to decide." I spit out my water.
"Damn it. I completely forgot about that!" I said face palming.
"School?" Grayson asked chuckling. I nodded yes.
"Well do you guys play any sports?" Victoria asked.
"Well there's football, lacrosse, and soccer are the main ones." Ethan said.
"Wow. Such jocks." I said rolling my eyes playfully.
"Yeah but we're not stupid." Ethan said. "Well one of us." Ethan added elbowing Grayson.
"Hey!" Grayson said offended.
"But we do get bullied. For a reason I still don't know." Grayson said.
"Us too, but supposedly it's because we're 'nerds'." I said rolling my eyes.
"Wow. People are stupid." Cameron said laughing. And soon we were all laughing.
"So what now?" Victoria asked.
"I have a book report that I have to do before school starts. But you guys can keep having fun." Cameron said walking back to her house.
"Sooo..." I said cutting the silence before it got awkward.
"We could go get ice cream." Ethan said.
"Yeah let's go back to the house so I can get my money." Victoria said.
"Oh please. We're paying." Grayson said winking.
