this story takes place in the red dead redemption games and begins with the second one
I love these two games so why not make a fanfic of it?
it starts off in the blizzard when Javier and Arthur are searching for John and they come across a starving...
Javier stood behind (Y/N), his hands on hers as he helped her aim the double barreled shotgun at the tree.
A wanted sign was being held up by a knife on the tree, an idea of Javier's to use as a target
"Now when you are posative you'll make it, fire" Javier instructed
The gun fired and the wanted sign fell off the tree
"Let me get another sign, than you can try by yourself" he said as he backed up and moved over to Boaz and pulled a rolled up wanted sign from his saddle bag
He went over to the tree and pulled his knife off, he put the sign against the tree and stabbed his knife back into the tree, holding down the sign
He backed up and stepped over to (Y/N)
She pointed the gun to the sign and clocked the gun, her fingers slipped to the trigger and she pulled them back.
The shotgun fired and the sign fell off the tree
"Ha I got it!" She lowered the gun and handed it to Javier
Javier shook his hand "keep the gun, you'll probably need it one day "
(Y/N) smiled and flung it over her back, strapping it on "so, now what?"
Javier mounted Boaz and held out a hand to help her on "I robbed a house the other day and I got some money, so I'll be taking you to the Valentine stable to buy you a horse, so you don't break Boaz's back "
(Y/N) gasped "well what are you waiting for! Let's go get me a horse!"
Javier glanced back and smirked before turning his head forwards and flicking the reins, making Boaz start trotting

(Y/N) pointed to a horse "I'll take that one" she said to the rancher. He nodded and went over and opened up a gate and guided out a horse.
(Y/N) took the reins from him and slapped Javier's money into his hands
The rancher went over to saddles and placed it onto the horse and then tightened stuff. He shook the saddle and smiled "all set, you enjoy yourself now"
(Y/N) nodded "you too"
The doors to the stable opened and (Y/N) lead her new horse out, Javier, whi was leaning on the wall beside the stable, looked over and smiled "nice choice"

(Y/N) nodded and climbed ontop of her horse "dont worry boy, its alright " she said as her horse began to get a bit freaked of having somone ride it
Javier walked over to the hitching post and tossed his reins onto his saddle before mounting Boaz "you name him yet?"
(Y/N) nodded "I decided on smoke"
They both flicked their reins and their horses began to trot back to camp "nice choice on the name too"
(Y/N) laughed "thanks"

Javier and (Y/N) both hitched their horses on the same post and walked into camp, Hosea walked up to Javier
"Trelawney wants to you to meet him, Arthur, and Trewlany in blackwater, we found Sean"
Javier nodded "alright"
Hosea tipped his hat "Arthur will meet up with you all in a while so I'd go while you can before it gets too late"
Javier looked over to (Y/N) "well, I'll be back, make sure you go and practice some shooting"
(Y/N) rolled her eyes "alright"
A/N Today 3 of my horses died which was fun, tbh I was onlyattatched to one of them cause the other two were unlucky temporary horses
