Protégé of, Nightwing?

Whats Going on?

You can always tell when something is wrong in Gotham, cuz that's the only time the JLA receives distress signals from a bat. You know that it's really bad when you get two, it's happened before. However, they've never had all five go off. There was no protocol, Gotham has never gotten that bad.

The founding seven, minus Flash and Batman, obviously, rushed to the scene. What they found was awful, and that's the nicest way to put it. Making their way through the remains of the building, the JLA approached the Bat dam. Once they saw blood, and weapons stuck in all their skin. The JLA went into save them now mode, one not often activated.

"Ummm, what do we do?" Asked Green Lantern, as they approached the blood.

"We find their bodies, and save them if we can." Said Wonder Woman, they then heard coughing.

"Wait, did you hear that?" Asked Superman, and they rushed forward. The League has to hold down their bile, for what they saw was horrible.

All the bat kids, spread out. They were cut, bleeding, and unconscious. There was metal sticking out of them, debris covering them, and debris stuck in their suits.

"Great Hera, What happened!?!?" Wonder Woman Cried out, Green Lantern used his ring to create five  gurneys. They quickly put the Bats on the gurneys and then rushed to the nearest Zeta Tube.

The team was waiting in the Watchtower, they heard something happened. Yet, weren't told what. The founding seven rushed out, so they knew it was bad.

However, they weren't prepared for what they saw. The original seven came rushing out of the Zeta with all the Bats except Nightwing, and the Bats where all badly injured.

"My god!" Artemis Cried out in horror, she saw five of the strongest people she knew get rushed to the med bay.

Wally was speechless, Dick should be here. He wouldn't not come if his family was hurt, he was that protective. Yet, he could had sworn he saw a bit of blue under Batman's suit.

"What happened?" Megan Asked, she was quiet, and was worried.

"We don't know, we found them like this." Said a clearly shaken hawk woman, and the team was nervous. If all bats perished, that would mean Nightwing would be left alone.

"Has anyone contacted Nightwing?" Asked Wally, and the original seven looked a bit nervous.

"He's undercover somewhere, nobody has been able to get ahold of him." Said Clark, as the Bats were rushed out of sight.

"Will they be ok?" Asked Wonder Girl, and Hawk Girl looked nervous.

"We think so, but their injuries are bad." Said Wonder Woman, and then she rushed to the med bay.

When he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was white. Quite frankly, it hurt like hell. The second thing he noticed, was the pain. Every part of his body hurt. Cuz he hurt, he knew he was alive.

Turning his head, he saw Barbra was up. She was just sitting there, but what he found odd, was the fact she wasn't in a hospital gown.

"Barbra." He said, and that shocked the girl. Her head snapped to him, and he saw relief fill her features.

"Jason, your up." She said, as she stood up. He was confused, what did she mean?

"How long have I been out?" He Asked, and she sighed.

"Well, it's been a day. So far, you're the only one to wake up." She said, gesturing to the other side of him. He turned his head, and saw all his brothers unconscious and hooked up to machines, with bandages wrapped around their injuries.
