Chapter 16

Rosé POV

We're on our way to the Coex Aquarium and I'm feeling really happy. I'm spending time with Lisa and now we're going to one of my favorite places in the entire world. An aquarium!

If only this were a date, it would have been even more perfect. Well technically this was a date because of the unnie's list for couples but ultimately this is just a game. Me and Lisa would have probably never done this if not because of the game.

I'll just think of this as a way to be closer to Lisa. I have no idea if she can even love me the way I love her but a fact I'm sure of is that I will still love her regardless if she just loves me as a friend or as something more. I'll protect you forever Lisa!

I look to my right and see Lisa in a very good mood. She's been giving us that smile since she found her ring. It was just a ring, why would it make her happy.

Wait a minute? Huuuh! Could it be? Had she seen what I wrote on the lock? No that's impossible, she wouldn't fake losing her ring just to check the lock. Yeah that's right, stop overthinking Chaeyoung.

She saw me looking at her and she does her signature Ehee. I smile but still roll my eyes at her as she kept repeating Ehee.

"Stop it Lisa. The unnies are sleeping."

Lisa still wouldn't stop so I grab a hold of both her hands. We were now holding hands, and Lisa was sheepishly smiling at me.

"Will you stop making noise if I let go of your hands?"

She nods no in response so I kept a hold of her hands. Without realizing it I fell asleep while holding Lisa's hands.

"Chaeng-ah! Chaeng-ah! Wakey wakey, we're here!"

I open my eyes and see Lisa's face just a few inches away from mine. I look down and see  I was still holding her hands.

"Why didn't you remove my hands when I fell asleep? It must have been hard for you to sit then." I ask.

"I might be tempted to make noise. Hehe." She says letting go of one of my hand and scratches her head.

"Come on, let's go!" Lisa pulls me along with her as she got out of the car.

Once we got inside the aquarium, I let go of Lisa's hand and ran to one of the glass walls where there were a ton of fishes.

"Waah! They're so pretty!" I put my hands on the wall feeling like I got a bit closer to the fishes.

I hear the sound of a shutter to my left. I looked to my left and saw Lisa with a camera on her hand. She was the one who took a picture.

"Yeppeuda. You looked really pretty just now Rosie. You're prettiest when you're happy." she says. I look at her shyly and say thanks.

I felt thousands of butterflies on my stomach. Only Lisa is able to do this to me. God, I'm so madly in love with her. Why did I just realize this yesterday? There were signs everywhere.

We walk around and see there were not a lot of people around but it was still hard for us to do the task because someone can still see us. We walk around some more and when I noticed there wasn't anyone around, I took the camera (that was filming our full trip) from Lisa's hand and immediately kiss her cheek making sure we got it on film. Her cheeks flush red at the contact.

"Come on let's go feed the fishes!" I pull Lisa along as we toured around the Aquarium.

We're at the area with the penguins. I was watching them and following them around, they were too cute. I see two penguins that looked like they were bickering which reminded me of Lisa and I.

I look to my left to call Lisa.
"Lisa come here and loo..." my eyes widen in surprise seeing her face right in front of mine. Our lips almost touching, it might have even touched for an instant. I wasn't sure. Lisa got her composure back and kissed my cheek cautiously making sure no one was around. My heart was beating out of my chest. God this woman, she will be the death of me.

I fake cough and say "Look the penguins look like they are fighting. Don't they remind you of someone?"

She looks at me embarrassed.
"They are a little bit like us aren't they?" she leans her head on my shoulder and we continue to watch them, making us smile at how cute they are.

"I can already imagine the unnie's faces. They will definitely tease us about this."

"Tease us about what?" I ask.

"About our almost kiss. Everything got recorded by the camera remember." she said as a matter of fact.

My mouth formed a huge O-shape. I silently pray they wouldn't, this is gonna be so embarrassing.
