Chaeyoung seemed like she was staring right into my soul, those deep dark orbs looking straight through me when she was sitting right in front of me.

When she entered the dorm room the butterflies in my stomach grew more intensely. There was a part of me that had just wanted to throw up but I swallowed everything down and waited patiently for her to enter my room.

She had been surprised at what she saw when she opened the doors to my room. She looked confused and her forehead was scrunched up and yet she still looked like a Goddess in front of me. She was and is still the most beautiful person in my eyes ever since the day I met her. And right now this is my time to tell her that I loved her.
"Chaeng-ah, I want to tell you something but you know I'm not really good with words. I tried writing about it and figured I would just give it to you but I thought it would be better for you to hear it directly from me. After weeks of practice, I've finally managed to play a song successfully. Please listen until the end. This song is for you." I say to her and she nods. She removes the her hands that she placed on top of mine and sat silently on her chair staring directly at me.
I strum the guitar and the room was filled with only the sound of our breaths and the strings of the guitar. I have to sing this with all my heart and soul.

I finish the song and thankfully I didn't make any mistakes. I stared at her lovingly, took a deep breath and started my speech.
"Chaeng-ah, I've been keeping a secret from you for a while now. I had wanted to tell you but it just wasn't the right time then but I made sure to tell you using my actions before. You, Park Chaeyoung, mean the world to me. I can't put into words how I feel about you because everything seems too pale in comparison. You have been my bestfriend for almost 8 years now and I do want to keep it that way forever but for the next few years and until forever I hope I get to call you mine for the rest of my life. I'm in love with you Park Chaeyoung, it took me a while to realize but I think maybe I've always loved you. Now that I'm sure I won't let this chance go to waste. Will you allow me to love you Chaeyoung? I don't expect an answer from you right now. I'm giving you all the time that you need, I just wanted you to know how I felt about you and that I'd always be here for you."
She kept staring at me her mouth slightly parted. There was something different with the way she looked at me but I couldn't put my finger on it. I couldn't read her thoughts right now and it worries me. She still hadn't spoken a word since and there had been a deafening silence filling the room.
"Chaeng-ah?" I asked softly. I place my guitar down and slowly kneeled in front of her and touched her hands. My touch seemed to have woken her from her stupor. She looked at me once again. Her eyes were getting watery. She finally breathed the breath she had been holding and wailed loudly.
(Sound effect of Chaeyoung wailing: Waaaaaaah!)
"Lisaaaaa, y-you ruined it." She covered her face in my hands and wouldn't look at me.
My heart drops at her words and my breathing had stopped. My eyes started brimming with tears but I try my hardest to not let them fall. A part of me wanted to run away and hide in the closet and cry my heart out but I needed to hear what what she'd say next.
Did she hate me now? Have I ruined our friendship?
