HAWKFROST POV

When I wake up I stretch and then I go get some water to drink and then I went to catch pray so that I could eat. When I was done eating I heard voices and so I went to see what was going on.

When I get there I saw Ashfur and 2 other cats. The first one was a tom and he had dark brown and light brown fur and the other one was orange with a white paw and it was a female.

"Ok here's how it's going to go, we are going to split up and search for prey and then return to the Clan," the tom says.

"Yes Brambleclaw," Ashfur and the female said.

After that, they went their own way and I followed Ashfur secretly and as I did I heard him talking to himself.

"How can she choose him over me, I mean sure Brambleclaw may be the Beta, but I'm good too," Ashfur says and I saw tears.

I then came out and walked to him.

"Nothing is ever accomplished with tears" that makes him gasp and look at me.

"O it's you again" he then uses his tail to wipe the tears away "what do you want?" Ashfur says.

"That's not important" I then sit next to him "why don't you tell me what's wrong"

He sighs "there was this she-cat that I loved, but she didn't feel the same way, she had feelings for someone else and ever since then it kills me that I was rejected" I then saw tears fall again "I mean what did I do wrong," Ashfur says.

"You did nothing wrong" he looks at me "if this she-cat doesn't feel the same way that's her loss and maybe one day you'll find someone," I said as my tail rubs his back.

"You know talking about it sure made me feel better," Ashfur says "and are you going to tell me your name?"

"Well I did say I would when we met again and we have and so" I stand up and go in front of him "my name is Hawkfrost"

"It's nice to meet you" he then stands up "well I better go find some prey and head home," Ashfur says and then starts to walk away.

"Wait" he stops and looks at me.

"Yeah," Ashfur says.

"If you ever need someone to talk to just meet me at the place where we first met and I'm over there every day if you need to"

"Ok, thanks," Ashfur says and then runs away.

ASHFUR POV

After I left Hawkfrost I went hunting for some food. When I got a few prey I went back to Clan and put the prey with the rest of it and then I went to sit on a log and just relax.

After a few hours, my sister came over to me along with her mate and kits.

"Hey brother," Ferncloud says.

"Hey sis" I then look at her mate "he still treating you right?"

"Yes brother" she sighs "you have to stop being overly protective," Ferncloud says.

"I'll stop when you stop trying to set me up with a random female as a mate"

"To shay" Dustpelt then cleans his throat "o right" she then looks at me "Ashfur um could you watch the kits tonight we have to go on patrol tonight and we can't leave them alone," Ferncloud says.

"Sure sis"

"Thanks, Ashfur that means a lot," Dustpelt says.

"Well you are family and I help the family," I said.

"Thanks again bro," Ferncloud says and I nod.

After that, they left and that left me alone with their kits and so we played for a while until we got hungry and so we ate and then I put them in their parent's nest and they went to sleep.

I staid there until they returned and then I went to my nest and went to sleep.
