Wedding Day

~◇Marzia◇~

When I learned that tomorrow will be the wedding and that I would be staying here. I was furious. Even if I managed to keep the anger. The news upset me so much that when they introduced me to my room I immediately jumped on the bed and screamed at the pillows.

I layed on my back and sighed. Contemplating my life. Like why am I even chosen. I don't understand...

I stare at my velvet sheets and walls. The room is ginormous. The bed being in the middle, closets and cabinets at the side with one huge make up table at the corner. As well as a huge window beside the bed.

I lay for a few seconds before getting up and opening the window. It took enough strenght to open since it was so huge.

The work out was worth though since once I saw the view, I was struck with the beauty. The scenery from the room was amazing. The royal garden's lamp glows brightly among the floral grass below. But the best part was the moon. It lit the entire land with it's bright glow. It was like a goddess watching over it's people. Too bad the land was ruled upon by a jerk of a prince.

I know he's a prince. But what gave him the right to say such a thing.

"Not a rich townsgirl from nowhere."

Rude.

He assumed such ridiculous things. He stated false claims.
He.... I---

I hate him.

Then realization came. The thought of marrying him tomorrow and getting to live with him my entire life frustrates me.

I shut the windows gently to avoid noise with the urge to slam them tried to get out.

I locked the panes and shuffled back to the sheets without changing. I just thought of going to bed immediately. I thought by the next day I'd just forget about it and accept my fate.

But no.. I was up until two in the morning. I can't. I couldn't.

"Yes, we are." His voice suddenly crept into my mind. Psh. What a terrible liar.

For a while I keep doubting whether this is real or not. Pinching myself every few minutes until my finger went red.

This lasted a couple of minutes until my eyes gave up.

This is reality.

Waking up obiously wasn't refreshing. Especially when three maids, my mother and then someone else in a dress came barging in at six in the morning. "The wedding is at ten my dear. Time to get ready." My mother informed.

I got up rubbing both my eyes with my clenched fists. "Ten?! But it's six in the morning!!!" I whined.

"There's more than getting ready before a wedding Marzia." A woman's voice said. I open my eyes to shock, it was the princess. "O-oh" I stutter as my hands fell to the sheets pulling them off me and revealing my dress.

"Marzia! You didn't change?!" My mom exclaimed madly. The maids gasped in horror while the princess just stared with wide eyes. "You have so much more to learn. Sister." She spoke and smiled at me.

After taking a bath in a huge bathtub a size of a kiddy pool. It took almost twenty minutes until I was done.

Picking clothing lasted almost an hour, to makes matters worse, I wasn't even the one picking. It was my mother, and now I'm in these ridiculously ruffly clothing, it wasn't bad but it wasn't ideal. For me that is.
