Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a French schoolgirl was getting ready for her first day of junior year.
Today, she didn't necessarily want to go to school, no one does, but this is a special case.
Let me tell you, Marinette is shy, clumsy, and (in her own words) just plain ugly.
No one likes her because Chloe spread rumors. No one stands up to her, so no one likes Marinette.
You see, Chloe's dad is the mayor, and he would do anything for his daughter. So he could take anyone's jobs quickly, all Chloe has to do is say the words.
Marinette also isn't doing the best in her classes. Her mind is always wondering, thinking of her next design.
These things and many others cause her to have depression and anxiety, but she isn't sure of it yet.
She thinks this year will be the same as all the others, but will it? Or will it be better?
