Elijah

Uneventful day. A little.

After I returned Miss Sunget's laptop, not much has happened for the rest of the day. I haven't even seen her around the university.

Wait, why am I even looking for her? And thinking about her? Umayos ka nga, Eli.

I opened the TV while waiting for the guys here in the loft. We decided to hang out after class since we haven't been completed for a few months 'cause both of them were on different trips since summer started. So, this is the only time, again, that we can get together and catch up. The last time we did that was cut short. You already know why.

Nothing interesting was on TV, so I turned it off and checked my phone instead. Nothing good on social media either. Can this day get any more boring?! I sighed in frustration.

I decided to just take a nap kasi mukhang matatagalan pa yung dalawa. After just a few seconds of closing my eyes, her face suddenly showed up. Wtf.

Why is this girl still bothering me, even in my thoughts?! I should be happy that I got rid of her, and somehow already got payback for what she did. Right?! I should stop thinking about her. Right?!

I really don't know what's happening to me. Argh.

A sudden ringing cut my deep thoughts, and when I checked, it's Nico.

"Ano, matagal pa kayo? You know I hate to be kept waiting." Bungad ko sa kanya.

"I told you to come with us, pero you insisted on waiting in the loft. So kaninong kasalanan yun ngayon?" I heard him snorted.

"Sa inyo ni Sam! Sino ba kasi may sabi na mag-org pa kayo. We don't need those non-sense."

"Hay, you're really unbelievable. Anyway, we're just wrapping up. Just letting you know. Be there in 10."

And then, he hang up. Baliw din eh.

I really don't understand why they have to join the orgs in uni. It's just a waste of time. I never imagine myself joining one, even the football team. Not even if they have already asked me to join the team a thousand times. I love the sport, as a hobby. For fun. Not for competition or anything. I'd rather focus my time on other things, like our family's company. Mas may mapapala pa ako.

A few minutes later, the guys FINALLY arrived! They've decided to just hang at Elephant Grounds, Tita Helen's cafe. And yes, THEY! Sila lang ang nag-agree na dun tumambay. Wala akong nagawa since 2-1 ang labanan.

Ewan ko ba ba't ang hilig nilang pumunta dun. I mean yeah, the food's great. The place is very relaxed, and kahit na maraming tao minsan, somehow you can still unwind and chat with your friends. And Tita Helen's really nice, although like I said before, mas close talaga sila ni Nico.

Pero still, I don't understand why they like to go there. Hindi ba sila nagsasawa? May iba namang mapupuntahan. And besides, each of our houses are big enough and has lots of amenities para mag-enjoy kame.

Ewan ko ba sa dalawang yun.

We got to the cafe, and as expected, the place is packed! But I don't have to worry since we have a special area reserved just for us. And in case you're wondering... Yes, every place we go to, meron talagang nakalaan na area specifically for us. That's how VIP we are. Call me mayabang, pero that's the reality.
