"Yes! I can finally sleep!" I screamed as I flopped on my bed. It's been a longgg day!
Since weekend ngayon, especially a Saturday, the cafe's been packed with people from morning until night. And nagkataon pa na two of our servers are on leave. Kaya I've been helping out with taking orders, serving, cleaning, and sometimes, cooking.
Yes, I can cook. My mom taught me since I was a kid. And I've always been fascinated by her cooking. It brings so much comfort and joy. I miss it so much. I miss her.
I was about to sleep when I remembered that I was supposed to text Tita that I got home already. Pinauna na nila akong umuwi since they can manage na daw, and may gagawin pa sila after. I grabbed my bag to look for my phone.
As I was rummaging my bag, I saw the frisbee. Naiuwi ko pala ito. And then, naalala ko yung mga nangyari today. It really was real. Akala ko nanaginip lang ako. I never thought that this day would happen. But I'm glad it did. I really am relieved that we're friends now.
After I texted Tita, I sent another message. This time, to Eli.

I was surprised actually by his reply, and mine as well. I don't know, parang mas gusto ko pa siyang makilala. And what better way than introducing him to my family, at ng ma-interrogate nila. Friendly interrogation.
