SORRY..... AGAIN: Demi Lovato story

DIANAS POV

Me and Eddie went to Demis room and and I broke down once again when I saw her she didn't look like her she wasn't Demi anymore.

She was asleep so I left the room so I didn't wake her with my sobs. I felt arms wrap around me I found Wilmer.

WILMER: hey hey she's alive
DIANA: she doesn't look good
WILMER: Diana-
DIANA: go go inside and look she's not her anymore

I go with Wilmer inside Demis room and I saw tears roll down his cheek.

Demi was still asleep for several hours the doctor came in and took her for an mri to see if there was any brain damage. Everyone still sat in the waiting room and they vowed to stay there until she woke.

The doctor came back with Demi and told us she has a brain bleed and they had to get her into surgery.

I waited with Eddie and cried into him for hours as he held me. I never thought I would be in this position. Wilmer sat next to Eddie.

DIANA: what if-
EDDIE: sh shh no what Ifs she's alive

After several hours the doctor came in.

DOCTOR: she made it through surgery but she is in a coma there was severe brain damage from lack of oxygen we just have to hope right now for the best and monitor her.
WILMER: when should she wake up
DOCTOR: days weeks even

I held on to Eddie as we walked into Demis room Wilmer trailed behind us. There laying in bed was my beautiful baby girl she looked peaceful asleep.

It was leaked to the press everything that happens so they limited the staff that attended to Demi.

I called Demis team and her friends to tell them what was happening. I grabbed Demis hand and saw her arm was covered in stitches and bruises. Her left arm was broken and in a cast.

WILMER: she's she's so tiny
EDDIE: did he feed her at all
DIANA: her hair is so thin and matted can you have someone bring a hairbrush she wouldn't like that it would bother her
EDDIE: Cesar night have one in his car I'll go ask him

Demis heart beat kept changing and the doctor was concerned but said it was do to the loss of food intake and dehydration.

DOCTOR: we have to monitor very close especially doe organ failure until she wakes up she lost a lot of blood and I want to take her in for a full body scan so we can look at her organs because we don't right now what's going on with any of that
DIANA: when can you do it
DOCTOR: I'm about an hour I was able to squeeze her in
DIANA: is it okay if I brush her hair
DOCTOR: of course just be careful of the bottom towards the back of the neck that's were we did the incision
DIANA: it's a lot tinier than I expected
DOCTOR: it wasn't a huge brain bleed she was exposed to a lot of toxins and in surgery she went several minutes without oxygen because she flatlined on the table a couple of times
DIANA: why is there a brace on her neck
DOCTOR: it was broken recently

Eddie came back with a hair brush and handed it to me. I  are carefully and very gently brushed out her hair.

EDDIE: remember when she was little she loved when you brushed her hair
DIANA: I do

Her hair thinned out so much. Cesar came in to check in Demi.

CESAR: hey
DIANA: hey
CESAR: she's all skin and bone
DIANA: I know I don't think she's ate something decent since before her and Henri started to go downhill
CESAR: truthfully I lost a lot of hope after she was gone a year
DIANA: me too me too 
EDDIE: she's so strong

I held Demis hand for the first time in over a year. The doctor came in a tool Demi to her scan. Not too long later the doctor comes back and sits down to talk to us.

DOCTOR: we need to do a scan everyday for at least the next couple of weeks her organs don't look perfect but they aren't failing either it's going to be touch and go.

Maddie and Dallas came into the room and nearly broke down when they saw Demi.

MADDIE: she doesn't look like Demi anymore
