Thomas' POV

So here I am, sat on (Y/N)'s bed with the rest of the Rev Set, after the live stream, playing musical roulette.

Not quite how I planned my Friday but oh well.

But surprisingly, I'm enjoying myself. A lot more than I thought I would.

"Okay, who's next? Johnny Boi spin the bottle." Peggy laughed, on a sugar high from way too much Pepsi. John spun the bottle on the mat that had everyone's names on it while everyone stared.

"Fuck! No!" (Y/N) hid her face in her hands as the bottle landed on her, narrowly missing my own name.

"Yes!" Eliza clapped her hands and pressed a button on her phone to pick what she would sing. Don't ask me how this works as I'm not too sure myself. All I know is that someone has a generator that picks this. Apparently, today it's Eliza.

"Song about your ex." Angelica announced, looking over her sisters shoulder.

"Which one? All three have had songs written about them."

"Seabury." Alex replied.

"You dated Sam?" I asked. The girl nodded.

"And King, and Lee. Let's just say none ended well but I guess this ended the calmest." She cleared her throat and started to sing.

"I look up from the ground
To see your sad and teary eyes
You look away from me
And I see there's something you're trying to hide
And I reach for your hand but it's cold
You pull away again
And I wonder what's on your mind
And then you say to me you made a dumb mistake
You start to tremble and your voice begins to break
You say the cigarettes on the counter weren't your friend's
They were my mate's
And I feel the color draining from my face
And my friends said:"

She looked at each of them in turn, starting with the Irishman.

"I know you love him, but it's over, mate,"

Hercules smiled somewhat sadly.

"It doesn't matter, put the phone away."

She turned to Lafayette.

It's never easy to walk away, let him go,"

John leaned into Alex as he nodded.

"It'll be alright"

Finally, she looked at Aaron. Of course he'd said that.

"So I still look back at all the messages you'd sent
And I know it wasn't right, but it was messing with my head
And everything deleted like the past, it was gone
And when I touched your face, I could tell you're moving on
But it's not the fact that you kissed her yesterday
It's the feeling of betrayal, that I just can't seem to shake
And everything I know tells me that I should walk away
But I just want to stay
And my friends said.
"I know you love him, but it's over, mate
It doesn't matter, put the phone away
It's never easy to walk away, let him go
It'll be okay."

She looked at Angelica while she continued.

"It's gonna hurt for a bit of time,"

Then John who smiled a little.

"So bottoms up, let's forget tonight."

Then Eliza.

"You'll find another and you'll be just fine."

And last but not least, Peggy.

"Let him go
But nothing heals."

She stopped and sighed. That was it? I couldn't leave her in her heartbroken, reminiscent state.

So I thought quickly and carried on for her.

"The past like time
And they can't steal
The love you're born to find."

Everyone looked up at me, (Y/N)'s eyes glossy from tears. She smiled gently. I returned the expression.

"But nothing heals the past like time
And they can't steal
The love you're born to find."

She looked at each of he friends again.

"I know you love him, but it's over, mate
It doesn't matter, put the phone away
It's never easy to walk away, let him go
It'll be okay
It's gonna hurt for a bit of time
So bottoms up, let's forget tonight
You'll find another and you'll be just fine
Let him go
It'll be alright."

Okay, maybe she is a kind of friend and I maybe sorta care about her feelings.

Just a little.

Maybe.
