Izaya's POV
I sat down on my bed. Thermometer in my hands. 107°F it read. Yes, the great Izaya Orihara has a fever. I called Namie telling her I won't be at work today, she didn't question it.
Since I have almost nothing in my fridge, I needed to go out and get my favorite meal for when I was sick. Chicken noodle soup and Sprite.
I got up and slid on a jacket. A red one, not my signature black one, I'm not in the mood to play with my pet monster today.
Shizuo's POV
I just finished up my rounds with Tom for the day. Surprisingly the Flea didn't come to annoy me today. Noy that I want him to, I'm just used to fighting by now.
Then, I see him. I quickly up-rooted an innocent STOP sign and swung it, Izaya barley dodging it. He walked faster. I swung again.
"What's with the new coat, Flea? Sick of your stupid black one?" I asked, deperate to get an Izaya-like reaction
He turned around. "I was trying to avoid you, Shizu-chan." He said quite hoarsely before coughing.
I swung the sign again. This time it hit him.
I'm not sure what came over me, but I quickly picked him up and ran to Shinra's at top-speed.
"Yes, Shiz... Okay, come in" he smirked when he saw me holding Izaya like he was a child.
He gave Izaya a quick check-up. "He has a mild concussion and a high fever." He gave him some medicine and left the room.
Izaya's POV
I was hit. That's the last thing I remember before my eyes fluttered open. I looked around, slightly alarmed. I felt my head. Still burning up.
I saw Shizuo, he was staring at me.
"Oh, you're up." He smirked. I was just really confused. I had no time to sort things out before his lips crashed into mine. I kissed back after a little while.
A realization hit me and I pushed him away. "SHIZU-CHAN! I HAVE A FEVER!" I yelled.
"Calm down, Flea" He replied, calmly. "I've got a pretty good imune system. I'll be fine."
The next day
Shizuo lay in a doctor bed next to mine. "I told you so, Shizu,chan" I teased.
"Shut it, Flea" he leaned across his bed, over to mine. Giving me another kiss.
