Ethan worked hard to provide for you and your son. He did a hard job but it paid very high. He often started work around 9am and finished 7pm on weekdays then on weekends he worked only 2 hours in the morning. That meant that your son never got time to chill with his dad only on the weekends. "I hope your ass ain't talking to me, your 9 don't make me slap you as many times as your age" I said as he shrugged and sat on the couch with a sad emotion written all over his face. I sighed, I didnt like seeing my little boy upset. "What's wrong Lorenzo" you asked as a tear fell down his cheek. He turned his body and jumped into your chest holding you tightly. "Dad doesn't love me, he's never around. At school Derek's dad is always picking him up, taking him to the park or going on holiday with him but all the time it's you picking me up and I feel like he's avoiding me" he said as I looked at him. "Lorenzo, we don't have much money, dad goes to work all week to provide for us, he will only be doing this job for 4 more weeks then he gets converted to a easier job you have to wait. And be grateful he works for you and loves you and wants you to have a secure future so you won't have to struggle the way he does" I replied as Lorenzo nodded and understood. Lorenzo was growing up and he needed his dad around more that's why.
