➳ SPOTTED ➳

"He called you? What did he say? Are you sure it's him?" Taeyong bombarded her with questions, leaving her no time to respond as he slid the phone out of his pocket to call Chaehyun's family along with the police. Jeno directed Dahyun to a sofa where she could sit and explain what had been said on the phone with her missing ex. 

"It was Chae but trust me, what he said was scripted. Chaehyun was vague, he's never vague with his answers especially not with me. He seemed rushed and it just sounded scripted. Chaehyun is a good actor, he knows how to lie so he's purposely making it sound scripted. He knows that we know him better than anyone and will realize that he's in trouble. He said that he's fine and not to worry, call off the police and everyone. That's all he said. Not where he is, not what he's doing or why. That's not like Chaehyun at all. He would apologize for the worry, he would have addressed you guys and his family." 

Chaehyun was a smart boy, they knew that if he really was okay then he would've explained everything. Even if he was rushed, he would have at least mentioned what was going on. But again, he's a smart boy and he knows that Dahyun knows him better than anyone. Anybody could've said it was scripted but if Chaehyun really wanted everyone to know he was okay, then he would've made it convincing. 

Minutes later, two detectives entered along with Chaehyun's family but compared to the previous times they had seen them. Chaehyun's family were smiling. "Chaehyun has been spotted." 

Lucas felt like crying with joy as he jumped to his feet at the sudden good news. Chaehyun's grandmother welcomed him into her arms, finally letting go of the tears in which she had been holding. Lucas held onto her tightly, allowing her to sob in his arms. The detectives turned to Dahyun, "you have some information regarding a phone call, I believe? Would you mind coming down to the station to explain for us?" Dahyun happily complied, grabbing her jacket she stood and followed the two men out. 

"Dahyun said Chae called her. Apparently, it sounded scripted and vague, basically saying to call off the police and he's okay," Johnny explained, causing the family to share looks of confusion. 

Daeyoon shook his head. "That's not like Chae at all." 

"We know. Dahyun thinks that maybe he's purposely made it vague and scripted so she knows that there's a problem. Dahyun can read him better than anyone, that's probably why he called her instead of one of us. He knows for certain Dahyun would've seen through it," Jaehyun spoke up causing Daeyoon to grin. 

"He's an idiot but a smart idiot." The group chuckled. It was the first time in days that they had all been able to smile. Knowing he was alive put them all at ease. "We'll get him back. If the police don't get to him first then I know Chaehyun will have a plan to come back to us. He's Chaehyun, he always does." The group huddled together in one hug, making sure to include the grandmother and siblings. Taeyong wrapped his arm around Daeyoon who glanced at Hanra with a grin. She responded with a much weaker one.

She had been acting a lot different lately. 

KUPDATES

MISSING: KIM CHAEHYUN SPOTTED IN LONDON?

Well, it seems as though the missing idol was spotted back in his home town with a mask covering the bottom half of his face, though he wasn't seen alone. Seconds later, a woman emerged from the alleyway he was seen coming out of. Witnesses state that she had a firm grip on his arm and his clothes were dirty like he had been dragged around. Apparently, he complied to every order the woman gave him before hopping in the back of a car.

Just an hour ago, Lachlan's ex-girlfriend, Kim Dahyun was reported to have received a phone call from Lachlan himself. Our inside sources tell us that the phone call of Chaehyun stating that he was okay and 'needed some time to think', however, the family and even police officers are not convinced. Dahyun stated, 'it didn't sound like him at all. He sounded forced. If Chaehyun really wanted us to believe that he's okay then trust me, he could have.'

Nothing has been released other than that yet but it looks like we're getting somewhere. Let's just hope the next time we hear from him is when he's home safe.

I don't wanna drag this plot out because I feel like it will get boring for you guys and I also want it to be as realistic as possible, I enjoy making this book realistic so I hope i'm not making it too like dramatic or anything. 

All I have done today is write and I am not complaining. I now have eight chapters on my new book since I have been adding to that a lot today and I have been working on this chapter for the majority of today. 

The reason I am publishing this tonight is because I will be busy the majority of tomorrow so I just wanted to give you this now in case I can't update tomorrow, even if i leave it as a draft, I won't have time to publish it until late tomorrow. So here you go!
