It's currently 2 AM and I have been running off 3 hours of sleep all day but it's okay, I started to write this earlier in the day because I wanted to give you guys something as an apology for not updating yesterday. I know you say it's okay, but it just felt weird for me and I would like to make up for it with this chapter.
Warning: PTSD and VIOLENCE(?) mentioned.
- Chaehyun's sobs echoed around the alleyway as his vision slowly started to fade. He had been beaten, he had been dumped and he was now laying in the alleyway where he was last spotted, whimpers escaping him as she managed to curl up in a ball on the floor. His vision finally faded into black and the last thing that left his lips was a call for his grandmother.
- In Seoul. 2 Hours Later.
"We're relieved to tell you that Chaehyun has actually been found and is now in the hospital." The words didn't seem to click. Nobody moved, it's like nobody could believe what they was hearing. He had been found.
Their boy had finally been found, he was in the hospital. He was safe. Chaehyun's Grandmother fell to her knees, face tucked into her hands as she shook her head in shock. She had been longing to hear those words. For over two weeks, she had been sitting in agony, her heart ached for him, she wanted him home.
She may not have given birth to him, but she practically raised him and any grandmother would want their grandson home safe, guardian or not. But he was hers and he had been taken from her, and she was finally getting him back.
Daeyoon wrapped her in his embrace as they celebrated the good news. The NCT boys were beyond ecstatic to hear the news, each of them shedding tears - Taeyong sobbed.
"Now, we must let you know that he was badly battered when he was found and we know for definite that what he was put through has caused him PTSD which is common in situations as such. He may not be the same boy when he returns but he needs you guys more than anything. The investigation is still taking place." The family nodded.
"So, when will he be arriving back in Seoul?" Lucas asked eagerly.
"Whenever it's safest and okay for him to do so. His health isn't up to standard just yet. But I can assure you, it will be soon."
With that, the two detectives left the room leaving Lucas to hope that his best friend will be home very soon.

I swear when I'm in the mood to write I create just shit chapters. I'm so annoyed with how this turned out, like why is it so shit? Why is it so short? I've had a long day running on 3 hours and despite that, I still couldn't get to sleep so I'm really mad and just wanted to write a chapter. I've been having anxiety all day and feeling like I can't breathe, honestly I just want to break down 😂 it's currently 2 AM and I'm ready to throw my phone across my bedroom.

Anyway, I'll give you a spoiler...Chaehyun's back in the next chapter. So I guess this kinda was a part one to the final of this 'kidnapping series'.
