Well, in the mist of the stressful week of Kpop, it seems as though NCT's Lachlan's heart has been claimed by Red Velvet's Yeri. The pair come from the same company and have maintained a stable, close friendship since their first meeting so fans aren't really surprised of alleged couple, 'they had always shared a lot of skinship and its kind of hard to believe that they're 'just friends', if you ask me' says Chaehyundays on Twitter.
They have been speculated to have been dating in the past after it was revealed that Yeri has actually met his family, including his grandparents who are his legal guardians. Chaehyun has stated in the past that he doesn't like to introduce people to his family unless they are extremely important to him. Though the rumour started up again when a picture was leaked of Chaehyun and Yeri after Chaehyun uploaded it to his Instagram, though the picture was quickly deleted. (picture up top)
A lot of fans have questioned Chaehyun's sexuality in the past and though he has had serious girlfriends (Kim Dahyun) many still are unsure on his sexuality and believe that he has something going on with his best friend and group member, Lucas (Wong Yukhei) though, in a recent interview, Chaehyun responded to the rumour in a recent interview.
'Lucas is my best friend, he will always be my best friend and I'm not one to get cliché often but I can't imagine my life without him. A lot of people think that being in a group means that everyone is best friends, that's not true. Some of us are closer than others and though many of us barely talk outside of work, we're still brothers and I like to say I am one of the few that is close everyone, but Lucas takes the place for best friend. He's there for me no matter what and I know a lot of people think we're dating, but that's far from the truth guys. We're just friends who love each other a lot. Brothers. A relationship would be weird for us since it would certainly ruin our friendship."
So, Luchan isn't real but that doesn't mean Chaeri isn't. Lachlan has made it very clear in the past that he is yet to get over his previous girlfriend, Dahyun who he spent a total of eight months with behind the scenes.
