— would like to state that I made the boys act like this for drama purposes only. No hate to any of them, I would just like to point that out in case somebody finds a problem with it.

A LOT OF LANGUAGE AHEAD.

________

8:37 AM — Chaehyun was late.

His throat was scratchy, his head hurt and his nose was all blocked, he literally felt - and most likely looked – like death. A hoarse groan tumbled from him as he slid his phone off of the nightstand and was immediately blinded by the many, many, many texts and missed calls.

Oh he was in deep shit.

Taeyong's message gradually got more passive aggressive, which meant he was big pissed. Chaehyun let out a cry and forced himself up, upon seeing her owner, Eleven jumped up and ran to her food bowl with a wagging tail.

Barely even awake and in nothing but a pair of underwear, Chaehyun swiftly followed her towards the kitchen and lifted the bowl off of the floor, he weighed out her food before tossing it into the bowl. Once his main priority was done, he let her eat in peace whilst heading to his room to get dressed.

He threw on a pair of Adidas track pants, a white shirt and a green hoodie and ran a hand through his hair. He felt like he was gonna pass out any second, but he couldn't afford to be in any more trouble with the company. He grabbed his keys as well as Eleven's essentials and headed out of his room.

Eleven had to pee before he loaded her into his car ready to drop her off at his Grandparents place since he would be out and she needed to be fed and taken out for a walk.

Finally, after dropping off his dog, he was entering the practise room just to be met with many unimpressed faces. Chaehyun tossed his things to the side and let out a sigh.

"Look grill me all you want but just know I'll be tuning you out because I'm in no mood."

Ticked off by his attitude, the choreographer took a step forward, just to Chaehyun's luck, it happened to be the man that hated him most. The others visibly cringed noticing that Chaehyun didn't look very well at all and a look of guilt flashed across Taeyong's face but it vanished quite quickly.

Chaehyun let out a cough as the choreographer stared at him.

"Are you going to have a little bit more respect?"

"A bit more respect? Yeah if you have some for me. Works both ways."

"I don't see how showing up late and then having an attitude classifies as having respect, Lachlan."

Chaehyun bit the inside of his cheek but nodded slowly, which surprised everybody in the room. Chaehyun was never one to back down easily. Chaehyun brushed past him and went to take his place, rolling his eyes at the looks from his members.

Couldn't they tell he wasn't feeling well?

Time went by with the choreographer grilling Chaehyun at any chance he could get his hands on, but the boy barely ever reacted — which once again surprised everyone. In all honesty, Chaehyun was just fed up. The looks from the others, the snide comments from the choreographer he just couldn't be bothered. He wasn't feeling well and just wanted his bed.

But something told him that today would be a very bad day. And he knew he wasn't going to be able to keep his mouth shut any longer.

Finally, break time rolled by and Chaehyun was greeted with a phone call from his sister.

"Come pick your dog up. I don't want her here." Hanra's tone was enough to tell Chaehyun that this conversation wasn't going to go well.

"Hanra please. Gran told me to drop her off there because I won't be there to feed her or take her out on—"

"I don't care. Don't get a dog if you can't look after it. We looked after her whilst you was on tour. Either come pick her up or I'm selling her. Simple as that."

"Stop being such a bitch Hanra. I've had a shit as fuck morning alright, sell my dog and I promise to never speak to you again. Just fucking pipe down, yeah?" The line went dead and Chaehyun tossed his phone to the side.

He felt no guilt.

"Seems like you're in everyone's bad books this morning." Chaehyun glanced up to find Taeyong standing there with his arms folded as well as Doyoung by his side, the two of them looking very irritated.

Chaehyun shrugged, acting unbothered though oh the inside he wanted to cry.

"So you're not even going to have the decency to give us an explanation?"

"What's there to explain? I was late. End of."

"You was late, had an attitude with our choreographer, rolled your eyes at us and now you're sat here acting unbothered and rude after calling your younger sister such names and being rude to her. I find that you are being—"

"Being what? Huh? Because I think it's justified. Can't anybody have a bad day anymore?"

"Don't speak to me like that Kim Chaehyun or else so believe me you'll be wishing you signed that solo contract."

"Sometimes I fucking wish I never signed any contract at all! I'm a fucking human being. I get sick. I get tired. I have bad days. I get angry. So fucking get used to it because I'm not a robot. I've had the worst morning of my life. I feel like I'm going to collapse, my sister just threatened to sell my dog and I am getting snide comments and look off of you people for having a bad morning! How is that fair?"

"You should have a little bit more respect for us, we're older than you," Johnny chimed in looking very stern.

Chaehyun scoffed. "I couldn't care less about your age. I'm a grown adult myself. So yeah, I may have had an attitude but I'm sick! I feel like I'm going to throw up every time I move my head! So my fucking apologies for being human! I am so sorry that I can't control my body. I'm so sorry that I have a shorter fucking temper! I've taken a lot of shit in my life, so I'm so sorry that I snap so easily."

By this point everybody had been ushered out of the room, leaving Taeyong, Johnny, Chaehyun and Doyoung standing alone.

"Oh give me a break Chaehyun! We've all been through shit but have we lashed out for no reason? No. So using your fucking past as an excuse is not a reasonable one. That excuse is getting old. The topic altogether is getting old! Stop milking it!"

The second the words tumbled from Taeyong's mouth the entire room fell silent. Nobody had ever expected him of all people to go that far. Chaehyun took a step back, all anger washed off his face and replaced with a look of disbelief and pure hurt.

"Wow. That's a new fucking low. I'm going home to rest. Don't fucking follow me."

With that Chaehyun stormed out of the room leaving the boys standing in total shock over what just happened.

"He's never going to forgive me," Taeyong panicked, turning to the two boys who held their hands over their mouths. They had seen Chaehyun look betrayed before, but they had never seen that look on his face.

And they couldn't even reassure Taeyong and mean it...because even they weren't sure if Chaehyun would forgive him.
