I'm sitting in my mates office, it's the only place I could find that really smelt of him.
He's been gone for hours.
I sigh, looking st some of his work.
How does he do this all the time?
I look at the clock. Four hours. What was taking him so long?
I feel my legs begin to shake and I look behind me, just to check.
I bite my lip. I hope he's safe.
I sigh, deciding to sink further into his chair.
It smells of him more , I feel safer.
I hear the door and see Jonah walk in.

"Eden." He breathes and I dash over.
I hug him, I've never cared about blood. I don't care that he's covered in it.
"Eden, you okay? You're shaking."
"I'm fine." I squeak, tightening my grip on him.
I finally pull away and bite my lip
"Are they...did you..."
"Yes." He says and I breathe
"Thank you." I whimper
He pulls me into his arms again.
"Everything okay?" I ask and he nods.
"Mate." He breathes
He takes a shower and I sit in bed.
I have a raging headache, I can't seem to take it. This whole day has been killing me.
He walks over and kisses me.
"I think you need to relax sweetheart." He says, rubbing my hand
"I'm okay, really Jonah." I frown, looking down.
He crouches in front of me, as I sit on the side of the bed.
"How princess, I know that's a lie." He frowns
"N-no." I frown
"Eden. Just let me take care of you." He pouts, I Wait a little while and breathe.

I nod and slip into his arms.
He holds me tight and pours a bath.
He pulls my clothes off and slips me into the water after tying my hair up.
"Thank you." I whisper and he kisses my cheek
"Don't thank me. It's my job, even if you don't want me to." He smiles
I sigh and soak in the hot water.
Eventually he wraps a towel around me and helps me into some new clothes.
"Jonah, they didn't hurt you right?"
"Of course not, didn't even scratch me. There's a reason I suppress my wolf." He says and I nod
He holds me close to his chest as we watch random shows till I fall asleep.

I wake up and look at the clock.
How on Earth?
It's midday. I slept for thirteen hours. What the hell.
I groan and climb out of bed.
"Jonah?" I yawn
I see his head pop through the door.
"Eden, you slept well." He smiles and grins
"Why did you wake me up." I pout
"You were exhausted, that's why." He laughs
"Yeah yeah, you gonna kiss me or not?" I frown and he smirks.
He walks over and I swing my arms around him
Mine.
He closes the gap between us and I grin, pressing my chest to his.
"Cmon, time to face reality." He says and brings me downstairs.
I look around and breathe
"Damn." I mutter
"What's wrong princess?"
"I need to get my sweater, be right back." I smile and dash upstairs.
I quickly take my pill and I bite my lip.
God, I need to remember to take these damn things.

I pull on my sweater and walk downstairs.
"You know it's not cold." He frowns
"Not to you." I smirk and he rolls his eyes
He pulls me close and I giggle
He kisses my head and I yawn
"You want to go back to your house and see if you can face it again?"
"Actually, I wanted to show you something." I smile and he nods.
I grab his hand and drag him, walking to my old house but I keep walking.
Further into the woods.
"Eden, where on Earth are we?" He sighs
"This is where I lived." I point to a small bunker in the trees.
"You built that?" He gawks
"Sure thing! Cmon, it's not exactly easy to enter.
I look around for the right rock before working it into the familiar groove in the tree.
I step out it and scale the tree and climb in.
Jonah quickly follows and looks around the place.
"How long did it take to build?"
"A couple weeks, but then you guys got closer so I had to run." I say and he admires the place.
"What's that?" He points to a white sheet on the floor
"I have no clue." I say and pick it up.
I flip it over and gawk
"I-it's my photo." I breathe
He wraps his arms around me as I hold it.
"I thought I lost it." I breathe
"Is that your mother?" He asks, pointing at the picture.
"Yeah! And that's me!" I giggle pointing at the red headed bad mannered brat.
"Wow. You were a cute kid."
"I was not!" I laugh
"How old were you?"
"Nine." I smile
"Really? You look about five." He chuckles and I punch his arm
"I was short okay!" I laugh
"You still are." He smirks and I fake insult
"How dare you Jonah." I say and he laughs
"We should probably head home." I sigh and he nods
"Sure."

I clutch the photo and we walk back home.
"Eden? Everything okay?"
"If I'm honest? I'm just thinking about if my parents would be proud of who I am now." I frown and he smiles at me
"I think they would be." He muses
The cold wind tears through the pathway, a few leaves dropping to the floor.
I keep walking, keeping my head down, focused on the dirt.
I feel sparks incase me and I look up.
"How can you be so sure?" I frown, looking into his grey eyes
"Because, you managed to escape us for that long. Graduate high school, live past that event, and still manage to be happy. Of course they'd be proud of you." He chuckles and I smile
"I hope so."
"Jonah, can you tell me more about your family?"
"Oh. That would be a long conversation."
"I have time."
