Jonah's picking me up after work, I don't know if I look okay...

I even forced Sandy to come over

"Eden, you look gorgeous how many times do I have to tell you!" She giggles
"A million?" I grins and she chuckles
"You're lucky I'm too tired to fight." She smiles
"What if he-"
"Trust me, he'll drool all over you." She winks and I blush
"Promise?
"Promise." I beg and she hugs me
"Girl, did you lose weight? Is he stressing you out?" She frowns
"Maybe a little, I ate less while he was gone and stuff hasn't been great with him for the past two days. We're both scared about family."
"Sweetie, if you ever feel scared or worried, just come to me Okay? You know you can hangout whenever you want..." she says and I nod
"I know, and thanks." I squeeze her and she goes back home to see her mate
I see the time and my mate should be here any minute.
I pace around the kitchen until I hear someone clear their throat
"Nervous?"
I look up and see Jonah, I stare at him for a hard minute before realising I'm practically drooling.
"N-no." I blurt and he chuckles
"Come here gorgeous." He says and I walk over
I kiss him and he holds me close
We start driving and he looks at me several times.
"What?' I ask
"It's rather tempting to just take you home and-"
"Jonah!" I giggle and he chuckles
"Just speaking my truth angel." He smirks and I smile
I look out the window
"Look before we get there can I ask you something?"
"Okay...?"
"I know you're self conscious, so I didn't want to bring it up but you've lost weight darling. If it's me stressing you...just tell me." He frowns
"Jonah, it's not you. Just when you were gone I ate less and the past three days have been really stressful." I sigh
He rests his hand on my thigh and I blush
"You can tell me that Eden, you don't have to worry about my feelings." He says and I pout
"That's not true, I love you. I don't want you hurt." I smile and he squeezes my thigh lightly
He smiles and we walk out he car
I lean on his side
"Baby? I've missed you." I say and he kisses my cheek
"I've missed you too."
I look up and see a forest clearing.
I look at him and gawk
"Jonah..."
"I wanted to leave a good memory here, if it wasn't for my warriors grabbing you. We won't be here." He laughs and I laugh
"I've never been happier about some strange warriors dragging me through a forest." I grin and he smiles
We sit down and I lean on him
"Jonah, Thank you for all of this." I say and he smiles
I pick up one of the candles and smile
"Of course, these days haven't been easy... and you deserve better." He says and I shake my head
"Jonah we're both stressed, although I'm less stressed after this morning...." I smirk and he chuckles
"Eden Rose, I didn't think you had it in you." He says and I giggle
"Well Alpha, maybe you don't know me at all." I say
"Liar" He says and I kiss him
"How's Sandy?" He asks and I smile
"She's tired. So is Frasier apparently."
"Yeah I gave him the week off."
"Maybe you should give yourself that." I smirk and he kisses my temple
"I wish."
We laugh all night until I see the full moon and I smile
"It's been awhile since I've been outside in the full moon." I muse and he smiles
"I told my Delta to deal with the run." He shrugs
"You know I usually don't deal with full moons because of my wolf..." He muses and I grab his hand
"If-"
"Don't worry." He smiles
"I can feel your heartbeat from here, what's wrong?"
"Nothing." He says and digs his nails into the palm of his hand
"Hey, don't do that." I frown and he stops
"I'm fine." He smiles and I nod
Sure...
"Well actually I wanted to ask you something." He says and I perk up
"Anything!" I smile and he chuckles
"Well as you know, we met because the pack thought you were part of the rebellion. I went looking for my mate and found someone even better. We are both extremely fucked up and I've loved almost every second of it. I don't want either of us to have to worry about us being apart again...so..."
My heart pounds as he pulls out a ring
"Jonah..." I breathe
"Eden-"
"Yes."
"But I-"
"Yes."
"I didn't even-"
"Yes!"
"Eden!" He laughs and I blush
"Okay, Okay Sorry." I grin
"Will you-"
"Yes."
He smirks and I giggle
"Eden Maera Rose, will you marry me?" He smiles and I jump into his arms
I kiss him
"Is that a yes?" He asks and I laugh
"Yes!" I grin
That's why he was so nervous? Adorable...
"I love you." I smile
"I love you more princess." He says
I kiss him and run my hand through his hair.
"I'm surprised you didn't figure it out." He blushes
"I'm didn't go prying." I smirk and he kisses me
"Mmmm. Eden Helligan...sounds perfect."
"Sounds perfect to me too." I purr
"Why don't we head home darling?" He asks and I kiss his cheek
"I'd like that." I smile
We slip into the car and I admire the ring the whole way home, he grins
"It was my mother's." He says
At first I find it sweet, but it leaves a sinking feeling in my stomach.
I don't have any parents to tell.
I have Sandy but I'm sure Frasier already knows.
I feel so overwhelmed with so many emotions.
Joy, excitement, fear, sadness, pride.
I let a few tears go and Jonah pulls over
