Chapter 45: Finally

"I'm sorry. I've been bothering you too much." I smile
"Oh don't worry." Jonah's mom smiles
"He was mad at me. His wolf will track me down" I shudder and she frowns
"Oh come now, even his wolf doesn't come here." She rubs my back and smiles
"Can I stay here until tomorrow then? I'm sorry to be such a burden." I frown
"Of course! It's nice having company. Jonah's Father can be a grumpy sometime." She giggles and I smile
"So can Jonah." I giggle and she laughs
"Oh I know."
We talk for awhile before I manage to fall asleep on the couch.

I wake up with a blanket over me and a pillow under my head
I thank them profusely and hurry home.
I see Jonah asleep on the couch and I smile
I close the door and walk over to him
I kiss his cheek and he wakes up
"Eden." He says and pulls me close
"Hey Jonah." I giggle and he smiles
"Tired." He grumbles and I laugh
"I'm sure you are, but you gotta get up." I coax and he shakes his head. He kisses my mark and I moan
"J-Jonah." I mumble
He grumbles but gets up
He groans before pulling me close again
"You are so clingy today." I laugh
"Humph. Mine." He says and I kiss him
"Yeah okay lets get you back to bed." I smirk and he just follows me upstairs.
I make him lay down and he mumbles
"Rest up Jonah." I say and slip out
I help finish some of his work before he walks into his office.
"Eden." He smirks
"Hi." I chirp and skip over
"I'm sorry I got so fed up yesterday." He sighs and I shake my head
"No, I was being pushy." I say
"True, but you had to be." He frowns
I shrug and remember I need to take a test.
"Oh...I gotta take a pregnancy test Jonah." I frown and he perks up
"You haven't?" He says and I shake my head
"I didn't think to take one. I'm sure it's just another negative"
"You don't know that princess." He smirks and I pout
"Why are you so optimistic."
"You smell different." He smiles and I smile
"Really?" I mumble
"Yeah, like milk and honey. So it may be an actual possibility."
I rush upstairs and take the test.
I wait for it to be ready and scream for Jonah
He dashes in and I smile
"Relax."
"I'm scared." I frown and we sit down
He holds my hand and I flip the test over
"Positive." I breathe and we look st each other
"Really?" He grins
"Y-Yeah!" I smile and he hugs me
"We're gonna have a baby?"
"Yeah!" He smiles
I sob into his shoulder and I grin
"I can't believe it." I whimper and he tightens his grip
"Were gonna have a baby." He breathes
I think times like these are the funniest, we are sitting on the bathroom floor crying with tears of joy.
I deserve this right?
I finally get a baby with the love of my life...
I giggle
"Looks like the weddings gonna be interesting." I smirk and he laughs
"I don't fucking care." He smirks and I kiss him
"I gotta call Sandy!" I blurt and jump up
He pulls me back and frowns
"Gentle sweetheart."
"Oh right." I smile
"Also I hate to be so negative but we really should go to a doctor first." He says and I sink
"Yeah. Can we?"
"Now?" He cocks his head and I nod
"Yeah."
He helps me up and we walk to the car, I bite my lip the whole way and dart for his hand
He squeezes it gently
"Hey, you'll be okay." He says and I frown
"We don't know that." I sniffle
He parks the car and we get out
We walk towards the door when he kisses me
"You're gonna be okay."
"Jonah if this comes back Negative I'm not trying anymore. It's too much." I sniffle and he hugs me
"That's okay." He kisses my head
Jonah PoV:
My wolf is flaring up and I feel like I may vomit but I need to focus on her.
I sit in the waiting room and she goes in
Jonah I'm scared,
You'll be okay, I promise.
I feel so dizzy I can barely think straight.
He's been so strong lately, I guess with the possible pup he's really pissed.
She walks back out after half an hour, in tears
I stumble as I get up and I frown
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing!" She grins, still crying
She hugs me and I squeeze
"So I'm guess that's good news?" I smile she nods vigorously
"Of course." She sobs
I hold her close
"Eden I don't want to worry you but can we hurry home?" I frown
"Of course. Are you okay?" She frowns
"He's mad and I'm not so stable." I rub my head and she nods
I wrap my arm around her waist, resting my hand on her belly.
We get to the car and go home.
She sits down and starts a fire, it's freezing outside.
I collapse on the couch, still feeling awful.
"Jonah, tell me if he's going to come out okay? I need to stay away if that happens." I say and he nods
I rest my hand on my belly and yawn
It's like five o'clock now and I'm already exhausted.
"Jonah I'm really tired." I yawn and he pulls me close, closing his eyes
"Me too." He mumbles
"You ready to face my parents tomorrow?"
"Sure." I giggle and he rubs my belly softly
I yawn and finally feel relaxed
He tenses up and I kiss his cheek
"Cmon Jonah, push through it."
"I can't." He rasps
"Yes you can." I coax
He whimpers, closing his eyes
He hates being weak...
I rub his arm
"It hurts, it hurts so fucking bad." He sniffs and I let him breathe in my scent
He stops abruptly.
"You're smell is making it worse." He frowns and I pout
"How so?"
"Well you smell different now right? You smell like a pregnant she-wolf now, he doesn't like the reminder."
He's running so hot I think he could boil water.
He's fighting back against his wolf.
"I wanna talk to him."
