I wake up at one am to a phone call.
"Sandy?" I groan
"I-I'm in labour." She squeaks and I jump up
"I'm on my way, where's Frasier?" I ask
"He's still out!" She whimpers and I pull on my clothes.
"Okay, where are you?" I ask
"At home, hurry Eden." She whimpers
I wake up Jonah and tell him to get Frasier.
He nods and passes me his car keys. I bite my lip and rush to the car.
I can figure this out, driving can't be that hard. I remember some basic training from my dad. I figure out how to start driving for the most part.
Okay, this isn't too hard...
I bite my lip and stop outside her house.
I lock the car and rush inside, locking eyes with Sandy
"Ready?" I ask and she nods
I bring her to the car and she screams.
"Fuck!" She helps guide to the hospital, I accidentally slip up which pedal is which occasionally.
When we arrive and I hurry her inside with Sandy.
She clings to me.
"Where is he?" She sniffles and I frown
"He's coming Sandy. I promise." I smile and she nods
I get her into the room and she refuses to let go of me.
"Please, don't go. I can't do this alone."
"I'm not going anywhere." I smile
With each contraction my bones crack in my hand
"Sorry!" She whimpers and I shake my head
"It's fine, it doesn't hurt that bad. Focus on you." I beg and she nods
I hug her and she smiles
"Okay, I can do this. God I just wish I had my mate here."
"Well, speak of the devil and he shall appear." Frasier grins
"Mate!" She grins and Jonah stands, leaning on the door and smiles at me
I grin and Sandy squeezes my hand
"Go. I'll be fine." She smiles I hug her gently and rush over to Jonah.
I stand in front of him and I smile
"Maybe I should mention, I don't know how to drive?" I giggle and he gawks
"Eden!" He laughs and I bag my eyelashes at him
Sandy PoV:
I watch them for a minute, Jonah's so happy with her. Edens so dumb around him, so in love.
They both stand their laughing before he pulls her close and talks to her.
She hums and rests her head on his chest.
I ship them, Edens so cute around him. She's always so happy and flustered.
Eden PoV:
"You could've gotten hurt, how did you even get here?" He says and I giggle
"I winged it." I smile and he rolls his eyes
"Of course you did." He smiles
"We should give them some space." I say and he nods
We walk to the lobby, people bowing respectfully at us. Jonah pays this no mind, however I am deeply intrigued.
"Jonah, am I walking weird?" I whisper and he smirks
"Yeah, a little." He chuckles and I bite my lip
"That's embarrassing." I squeak
"Nope. Just proves your mine." He smirks happily and I rest my head on his shoulder
"I'm sure your tired, go to sleep princess." He says, rubbing my thigh
"B-"
"Eden." He says and I sigh
"Fine." She smiles and snuggles close to me
"Sleep tight." He whispers
When I wake up, it's because Jonah is telling me to.
"The Baby was born." He whispers and I grin
"Can we go?" I whisper back and he nods
We walk back to them and see Sandy holding her tiny daughter in her arms.
"You guys stayed?" She says and I nod
"Of course." Jonah smiles and I crouch down by Sandy
"My goddess she's so tiny." I breathe and Sandy giggles
"Not when you're pushing her out, but yeah, she's so small." Sandy laughs and I smile
Jonah PoV:
Eden seems to be transfixed by this baby, completely amazed.
She even holds her for a little while.
She looks so happy and I have a feeling she will want to talk to me after this.
"So? What's the name?" She asks and Frasier looks at Sandy
"Go on, tell her." Frasier says and Sandy giggles
"Rose Eden Williamson." She smiles and Eden cover send face
"Stop it I'm gonna cry." She laughs
After awhile we leave and Eden looks out the window.
"Something wrong angel?" I ask and she shakes her head
"Something feels...weird." She mumbles
"What do you mean?"
"I feel weird. Like something bad has settled in my stomach." She says and I frown
In fact, I pull over and look at her
"Well you have been feeling weird lately right, and passing out earlier this week." I frown and she nods.
"I don't know what's wrong with me." She sniffs and I pull her into my lap
"What's on your mind?" I ask
"The time we lost, how it's all my fault." She sniffs, wiping tears for her eyes.
"That's not true, you ran away because you were attacked and terrified. Of course you ran, Eden we lost time but that doesn't change anything." He frowns
"Bullshit, you're twenty one. I'm twenty. My best friend just had a baby! Don't you see? Everyone else has their shit together and I'm passing out doing nothing." She snaps and I sigh
"Eden..."
"No! It's my fault that I kept running for so long, I could've given up and we would've been here years ago." She sobs and I hold her close
"Breathe." I say and she hiccups.
I chuckle and she punches me.
"I love you and I wish I met you sooner." She sniffs and I smile
"I love you too angel."
She refuses to get out of my arms so I drive with her in my lap.
She falls asleep, it's five in the morning so I'll be going to work soon.
I sigh, I might just take the day off and be with my mate.
I do love her so much, I rub her thigh and carry her to bed.
She hugs me tight, fast asleep
I pull my shirt off and pull it onto her.
"Goodnight princess." I whisper
