Hayley and Odette were inside a gas station shopping for supplies for the road while Klaus waited for the two outside their SUV with Hope. Odette from the cookie aisle gasps making Hayley, who was in the aisle in front of the pregnant brunette, look over towards Odette confused.
"Look what I found!" Odette says with a smile as she raises a cookie wrapper to show Hayley the brand
"Cookies?" Hayley asks not knowing what was so special about some gas station cookies making Odette scoff
"Danish butter cookies" Odette says excited as she goes to check where they were made and as she reads it and knows that they were either identical or the ones that she had when visiting her grandmother when she was younger. At reading the country it was made in Odette places the cookie package back in the box with the rest and then takes the whole box with her to the register where Hayley was waiting for her ready to pay.
Odette and Hayley walk out of the gas station store with a bag full of supplies. Klaus standing outside the SUV turns around to see a smiling Odette and Hayley who pulls out a black and white trucker cap that reads 'Mother Trucker'. Klaus sees the words written on it and immediately objects to it, "Absolutely not!"
"Absolutely yes!" Odette says with a smile which makes Klaus sigh grumpily
"Need to blend in. You could start by losing the one thousand dollar jacket" Hayley explains still holding on to the hat and plastic bag
"Tell me again why we're on a scenic tour of Methamphetamine Country, and not compelling a jet to some far-off-- preferably tropical-- destination?" Klaus asks to both the women before him as they both objected to his idea and had their heart set on a destination only they both knew
"Look, I'm not the one with an army of pissed-off vampires coming after me. Can I have the keys?" Hayley asks with her hand stretched out making Klaus sigh dramatically before he pulls the keys out of his pocket and reluctantly slams them into Hayley's hand
"On a scale from one to ten, exactly how much am I going to despise this little plan of yours?" Klaus asks making Odette chuckle as their plan to keep the pregnancy a secret for as long as possible could potentially be ruined by being trapped in a car with the one person who knows Odette the best
"Um I'd say a solid eighty..." Odette says as she looks over to Hayley who smirks making Odette look back to Klaus "nine. But don't worry I am going to love every minute of it"
Hayley give Klaus a mocking smile and slaps the trucker cap on Klaus' head making the blonde roll his eyes

Klaus -who is still wearing the trucker cap the girls had got him-, Hayley, and Odette who is carrying Hope who sat in her car seat, walk into a homey-looking bar that is blaring country music inside. Klaus isn't pleased as they walk towards the bar yet both Hayley and Odette were trying to hide their joy as the bar felt like a second home. A bartender who stops cleaning a shot glass walks over to the end of the bar with a menacing look.
