"Elijah" Odette says surprised when she look up to find him by the door that led to the room she stood in what seemed to be a library that had yet to be explored as everything in the room was covered with white sheets and dust
"I came to see how you were settling in" He says as he walks closer to Odette
"Well other than every room almost being covered with white sheets and filled with dust, there being about zero food in the fridge, and the father of my child is ignoring me. I think I'm living every pregnant women's dream" Odette says bitterly that she was thrown into some home with nothing to do but eat and not harm herself all while finding out that she got pregnant by her mystic falls one night stand
"I shall get someone to clean the rooms and buy you some food. As for Niklaus he is not the most welcoming person but I believe this child will give my brother the one thing he has been searching for his whole life and that you could help him find his inner peace again" Elijah says making Odette look over at him shocked at the words that left his mouth

"Me? You are joking right?" the pregnant brunette says trying to figure out how in the world she will bring peace to man who ignores her and doesn't trust her and who she doesn't know what brings him peace has he has been alive for way longer than she has been
"I meant what I said odette" Elijah says making her chuckle as she did not know how to process his words
"Oh yeah and how do you want me to do that?"
"Believe it or not Odette you are one of the few people Niklaus has shown kindness towards" Elijah says as he moves towards the window to slightly open it letting in a cool warm breeze
"Yeah okay. Just because I he got me pregnant and I'm staying in yalls house, doesn't mean he has showed kindness. After all he was going to leave me for dead with the witches, only for you to convince him" Odette says with a scoff as he walks over to a shelf closest to the window and pulls on the sheet making Odette look away not in the mood to be in a sneezing fit
"It is to my knowledge that you spent some time with my brother before sleeping with him" Elijah says as he starts folding the white sheet in his hand making Odette purse her lips
"Um yeah, well we drank with some of his hybrids before I made sure to say the right words so he can kill all twelve of his hybrids and I admired the art piece he entered in some auction" Odette says trying to make her words as nonchalant as possible
"You did not make your way into my brothers life by this baby. You made your way into his life by taking interest in his art" Elijah says as he walks towards the door ready to leave the pregnant women alone
"Elijah?" Odette asks softly as she needed on answer from him before he walked out of the room "What do you believe this baby can give Niklaus?"

Odette walks out of the kitchen with a bowl of baby carrots as it was what at the moment she craved. Before Odette can make it to the stairs, a certain and familiar blonde walk through the compound doors looking lost.
"Oh. Hi, Cami. Are you here to see Niklaus? Cause that makes two of us" Odette says as she walks over to Cami and she meets her half way with a smile
"No. I am actually here to see you Odette" Cami responds taking Odette by surprise as she was not expecting that response
Since knowing that Cami is a therapist and the pregnant women didn't want a shrink, Odette blurted out "Cami if your here to start some therapy sessions, trust me I like you better as just a friend"
"No-no. Im here to apologize" Cami says taking the pregnant brunette by surprise as she continues to chew on a baby carrot, "I was rude to you the other day and I am sorry if I offended you in any way. We had just met and I essentially made you dislike me"
Odette remembers how Cami had told Niklaus that he had become his father because of his empty threats to hunt down Rebekah and Marcel and when he found them he would kill them. Making Odette defend Niklaus as those words just made Odette's blood boil
"Oh honey you didn't offend me nor make me dislike you. I just tend to be over protective to the people around me and that includes Niklaus now." Odette says seriously and honestly
"So friends?" Cami asks with a sly smile as she didn't want the pregnant brunette standing before her to dislike her
"Of course, you are probably going to be the only human I can trust. Just don't ever go all shrink on me, you will lose brownie points for that" Odette says making Cami nod her head while smiling
"I will try my absolute best"
"But I will allow it this one time as it is written on your face that you want to tell me something" Odette says as she picks up another baby carrot from the white bowl she held
"I should probably just head out while we are friends" Cami says not wanting to say what had been having in her mind since she defended Niklaus
"Cami I am giving you a free pass, I encourage you to take it"
"How can you defend Klaus after he repeatedly said he was going to kill Rebekah? How can you blindly trust him?" Cami says making Odette chuckle
"I don't blindly trust Niklaus but I know, some how- it's weird to explain, it's like a gut feeling that in that moment it was his anger speaking and he wouldn't be able to act on it in the end."Odette says trying to answer her questions as she walks over to the closest coffee table to place the white bowl she held
"But in the past he has acted on that anger and you are smart Odette, you know how history tends to repeat its self"
"I cannot govern his past" Odette says as she didn't want to get into an argument about what Niklaus is capable of doing and she also didn't want their friendship to be all about the Original hybrid
