"hey why you worried?" he asked
"I just hope everything's okay with the baby" I sighed
"well we'll find out in 5 minutes so don't worry about it" he said side hugging me
"hi I'm Mrs Lingard, I've got a pregnancy scan" I said to the receptionist
"and you are Mr Lingard?" she asked Marcus
"no no I'm just a friend, Mr Lingard's waiting over there" he chuckled pointing to Jesse
"ah okay well the doctors ready for you all now" she smiled and lead us into the room
"shit that's cold" I squealed when the doctor put the gel on my tummy
"yeah she doesn't really like people touching her tummy" Jesse chuckled to the doctor
"it's gonna be a difficult 9 months for you then" the doctor laughed "everyone's going to want to touch your bump"
"better get us-" I was cut off my the heartbeat of our baby "oh my god" I said while tears ran down my face
"that's our baby" Jesse smiled trying to keep in his tears
"wow you're a lot further along than you look" the doctor said surprised "so you're 11 weeks along and due on the 4th April 2020" she explained
"wow you guys timed that perfectly, just before the Euros" Marcus chuckled
"yeah I'm not sure if I'll be able to be the team assistant with a 2 month old though" I giggled
"everything looks good at the moment but the baby's quite small, however you two aren't the biggest people in the world so that doesn't concern me" the doctor chuckled "congratulations, here's the photos I've given you multiple copies so you can give some to family as well" she said giving me the ultrasound pictures
"when can we find out the gender?" Jesse asked
"20 weeks, so you've got a little while" she smiled
"agh I can't wait!" he exclaimed
"fuck guys look at this" Marcus said showing us an instagram post
