"no Jesse, today has been absolute hell trying to deal with 3 grumpy kids who didn't sleep last night with me probably having 2 hours worth of sleep" I complained
"well it's not like you looked after all three, you loaded Nate off with your mates instead of looking after him" he sniggered
"right now you're taking the piss! Give me an hour and all my stuff along with the kids will be out of here" I shouted
"you're fucking kidding me right?" Jesse asked in disbelief
"you think I'm joking right now?" I questioned "I'm getting my family another room seen as you obviously don't want to be a part of it"
"of course I want to be a part of this family!" he exclaimed
"well it doesn't seem like it when you're making the kids grumpy, leaving me to deal with them and then accusing me of just getting somebody else to look after them!" I said with a slight chuckle
"Lucy come on you know that's not what I meant to do" he sighed
"I don't care about what you meant to do, you still did it Jesse" I frowned "now just please leave while I pack up all my stuff"
"fine, I'll be back in an hour" he finally agreed after a couple of minutes of going back and forth

"hi can I get a room please?" I asked the receptionist
"sure, but we only have the penthouse suite available" she said
"that's fine I'll take it for 3 nights" I told her
"okay we'll get someone to take all that up for you" she said motioning to all my bags on the floor "how many keys would you like?"
"just the one will be fine" I smiled
"you alright Lucy?" Gareth asked from behind me
"Gareth hey" I said giving him a hug
"what you doing?" he asked confused
"I'm getting a room, me and Jesse had a fight and I just don't think I can share a room with him anymore" I explained
"oh I'm sorry Lucy, but that does explain training today" he sighed
"what happened at training?" I questioned
"nothing bad but Jesse really wasn't at his best he was really distracted, so much so I'm not sure if I can pick him for the semi's" he frowned
"right I'm gonna have to talk to him, sorry I've gotta go but I'll catch up with you later" I said as I walked away towards the lifts
"Jesse!" I said as I knocked on the door
"I thought you didn't want to speak to me?" he questioned as he opened the door
"I was just speaking to Gareth and he says you were distracted in training today" I told him
"well it's kinda difficult to not be distracted when your wife kicked you out" he uttered
"Jess you can't let a fight we've had affect your work, Gareth even said if you don't get your ass into gear you won't be chosen for the semi finals" I informed him
"what!" he exclaimed "okay I'm gonna go do some extra drills to show him I'll be good"
"alright I'll see you at dinner then" I said as I walked out the room
"wait Luce are we okay again?" he asked
"yes Jesse I never wanna fight with you" I smiled
"good, do you want me to bring all the bags up here?" he suggested
"babe we're okay, but I'm still gonna get a separate room for me and the kids" I sighed
"what why?" he questioned
"because I think it'd be best for you to properly focus on bringing it home. You can see the kids whenever you want, the only difference will be you're not sharing a room with us at night" I explained
"okay I'll see you at dinner then" he said giving me a kiss
"see you babe" I said as I walked away
