bbcnews Lucy Lingard dubbed by the media as England's Girl since the 2018 World Cup was injured in the Wembley Stadium Bombings on the 21st November. On top of that Jesse Lingard and Lucy were announcing that day that Lucy was pregnant with their second child, with Jesse wearing an England shirt that read dad of 2 and their son wearing a shirt that read big bro 1. We're praying for your family at this difficult time❤️

lucylingard_ thank you to every single person who has prayed for me and my family and sent us well wishes. I never thought I'd ever have to write something like this, which is why it's taken me 5 days to do so. As you all have probably heard I was caught up in the terror attack at Wembley Stadium. On the 21st November me and Jesse were announcing to the world that I was pregnant with our second child, due on the 29th May 2021. I was waiting in the tunnel as I watched my two favourite boys walk out on that pitch together, and that was the last thing I remembered until I woke up in a hospital room. I had an operation where the incredible doctors and nurses at Northwick Hospital removed multiple pieces of shrapnel from my legs, torso and arms. Although the doctors were absolutely amazing there was no saving our precious baby. Evie Faith Lingard lost her little life, but we have not lost her as she will live on in our hearts forever "for love is as strong as death"

jesselingard there is nothing more important in life than family and the past couple days has really reminded me of that. I have married the strongest girl in the entire world, this photo was taken just 3 days after the bombing when we lost our unborn child Evie Faith Lingard. Lucy still has a smile on her face because we know that although we should take time to grieve our little girl, we shouldn't dwell on the negatives. We will fight through the hard times together and with our little man Nate and each other by our sides there will always be laughter and love in our lives. I wish everybody that has been affected by this horrific attack the best and know that you need to have faith that everything will be alright in the end.

manchesterunited Jesse Lingard will not be available for this weekend's match as he takes some time out with his family after the Wembley Stadium Bombing. To show our support for all of the victims and especially our own red devil Lucy Lingard who was injured and lost her unborn baby girl, we will be holding a minutes silence as well as giving out pink Man United flags to all attendees❤️

jesselingard let's get this win lads👊🏾

"do you wanna go today?" Jesse asked me

"I dunno Jess, I'm not sure how I'm gonna feel about being back in a stadium so soon" I said unsure

"that's fine babe don't worry about it" he said kissing my cheek

"are you gonna go?" I asked

"I think I'd better represent us and say thanks for everyone's support" he replied

"okay do you wanna take Nate? I'm sure he'd love to have a day out to the football with his dad" I suggested

"that's literally all I've ever wanted to do with my son" he exclaimed happily

"perfect, and I'll have a day off" I winked

"go to the spa today!" he told me

"no Jess I don't wanna have to explain all the stitches to the masseuse" I frowned "I think Gracie's free I might just see if she wants to come over to watch some movies"

"and watch the match, you are a United fan" he smirked

"of course babe" I chuckled

"wait did you just admit it?" he questioned

"west ham's still my number one though!" I giggled

"wheyyyyy" he cheered picking me up to give me a hug

"ouch Jess my arm" I moaned

"shit sorry babe" he apologised

"don't worry about it, go get Nate ready then you've only got 3 hours until kick off" I told him
