A Hilarious Dilemma

I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea how to start this prompt. Which is kinda hilarious in and of itself. I've never quite done anything like this before, where I talk to the reader, but as my actual self. The author, that is.

My dilemma is trying to figure out what exactly to write. I've tried to come up with something for the past... well ever since I woke up this morning. But like, not really at the same time because this is definitely not the first thing that came to my head.

Usually, I can come up with a short little character situation, in these past nine prompts I've done. But I seriously had no ideas of what to even do. So, I've decided to voice my problems, because what else could I write about?

I could try and write about a character, a pirate maybe, who came across a talking— ha, yeah no that's horrible. Or what about talking animals in general? Or just write the entire plot of Shrek. That's a pretty hilarious movie.

Oh, wait, I could write about a person who gets on a train, which is going to the north pole, and they come across a bunch of caribou.. wait a second, isn't that part of Polar Express? Yeah, it is. So that's a nope.

I know! Let's write about an author, who talks to herself, and has no idea what to write in her prompt. Yeah, that would be funny, wouldn't you think?

The only problem is trying to figure out how to make it longer... cuz like I can talk about my problems, but like not about one problem I'm having. We could try this...

dkgdtkyidiyd fhlfkhfky ghlhfkukf.

Yeah that's technically only three words, so that doesn't work does it.. um, we could write a poem..

*clears throat*

Roses are red
violets are actually purple not blue, but nothing rhymes with purple,
I'm running out of words
how about you?

Lol, that's stupid. You know what's also stupid? the fact that the only people who'll probably read this are the other people writing the prompts.

Okay, that's not stupid, because I mean, they're my friends. So, I can't think that's stupid. At least I have some readers.

Okay, this literally went on a tangent, and I'm sorry you have to read this, diary entry. I'm only trying to fill space. And it looked like it worked.
