The saltwater was gone turned to freshwater I was clueless "Go past that sandbar" Annabeth commands we get off onto a marshy bay "Gross" I hear Victoria whisper "C'mon it's just down the bay" Annabeth says "What is somewhere without mosquitos and mud please say yes" Victoria asks following Annabeth her blue converse sploshing in the mud all I saw was brambles of twigs but Annabeth opened a set like a door a camoflouged hide out inside was logs to sit on, arrows, a bow, spears and ambrosia "A half-blood hide out" I say "Did you make this?" Victoria asks coming in "Thalia and I and Luke" Annabeth mutters she didn't seem to want to talk so we stayed quiet "How bout you go get some doughnuts Tyson" I suggested "Ok" he said leaving "Don't you think Luke let us leave to easily?" Victoria asks removing an arrow from the old quiver and spinning it around "Peh" She muttered tossing it aside "Trash compared to yours" Annabeth agrees "Yes he did let us go to easily" I agree Victoria anpped her band drawing an arrow and turning it in her hands staring at the bronze tip thinking "What did he mean by take the bait...Grover or The Fleece?" Victoria asks "Both possibly he probaly just wants us to do the dirty work and get the Fleece" Annabeth whispers "Why are you whispering?" I ask "Tyson" she answers "What about Tyson?" Victoria asks "He's a monster he can't be trusted that night when Grover was taking us to camp we were reaching the hill..." She asks taking the box of powdered doughnuts she reached for a match lit it and brought it to the box "No!" Tyson shouted taking the box "They're just doughnuts" I say "MONSTER DOUGHNUTS" Annabeth reads the box raising an eyebrow my way "It's a food chain they're all over New York" I argue "No Percy...why would there be a doughnut shop in the middle of the wilderness?" Victoria asks braiding her hair to avoid the branches of the wilderness "Fifty feet right over the hill" Tyson said pointing outside

"This shouldn't be here" Annabeth mutters as we stare at the delicious smelling shop "This is bad" Victoria mutters snapping her band notching an arrow in her bow and bringing her arms to her side the bow at the ground but ready to strike "Why are you arming yourself its a donut shop?" I asked "Shh no sudden movements" She whispered "Step back slowly..." Annabeth commanded I looked up to see a Hydra we stepped back but Tyson accidently stepped on a twig causing all 7 of the heads to snap towards us spitting out acid in every which way. "Spread out!" Victoria shouted but Tyson stood there terrified the Hydra slithered towards Tyson "No!" Victoria shouted shooting arrows like mad at they Hydra's main body. That girl's love for children...even cyclops children...will be the death of her. The Hydra whipped around angrily slithering towards Victoria "Hey!" I shouted uncapping Riptide. Good news...Tyson and Victoria are safe for now...bad news...I'm gonna be turned to goop. One of the heads shot at me and without thinking I sliced it's head clean off. "Percy no!" Victoria shouts soon two heads grew in the place of the other head "We need fire!" Annabeth shouted "We don't have a fire!" Victoria shouted we started to back away towards the river avoiding acid spit every which way. One false move and we're dead but then we heard chugging "Fire the 32 pounder!" a girls rough voice shouts "They're to close!" "Damn those hero's just shoot!" Victoria apparently realized what was going on "To the ground!" She shouted we ducked BOOM! The Hydra blew up into goop right in front of us the goop raining down on us "Eww!" Victoria shouted I looked at her she looked on the verge of tears when one of the heads fell on her head she wimpered her bottom lip pouting she looked like a little girl and someone stole her lollipop...she maybe a great hero but not so deep down shes girly...I was about to run over and stop her from crying but to late when I reached her the tears were streaming down her face "P-p-p-ercy the snake!!" She whined "Shhh" I cooed wiping her tears away with my thumb and throwing the snake head off in some direction "Ugh losers I guess I can rescue you" The girl said we looked up to none other than Clarisse...
