Second Chance

Chapter 6:

It had been a year since they met, and like Superman Said, they where inseparable friends. Well, Percy fluttered about. Having her princess duties to attend to, and all that.

Wally was currently 9, Dick 7, Anthony 6, and Percilla was 6. It was currently a long weekend for Dick, Wally, and Anthony. They where going to have a sleepover, but then the League got called off world for an important mission.

Alfred was in there to watch them, but would need help. Especially since this meant Percilla got to hang out with them, since her mother lets her do more than her father.

"Roy, please. It's only for a few days, a week at most!" Oliver told his ward, but the red head 12 year old boy was stubborn as tar.

"I don't wanna watch a bunch of kids! Why me?!?" He said, and Oliver sighed.

"What if I told you you where watching Robin, Kid Flash, and Superman's son?" He Asked the boy, that got him to his feet and ready to go in no time.

"Let's get going old man, I wanna meet the boy wonder!" He Cried out, as he dragged Oliver to the door.

When they got to the Manor, Alfred opened the door for them. They found Dick and Wally already playing, and Anthony was hovering above them.

"I brought Roy, he'll help you look after the kids Alfred." Oliver Said, and the elderly butler nodded.

"Thank you, help would be most appreciated. Mistress Percilla is going to be coming, and that alone will make trouble." Alfred Said, and Roy raises an eyebrow.

"Who's Mistress Percilla?" He Asked Oliver, and Oliver sighed.

"Aquaman's daughter." He said, right as the doorbell rang. When Alfred opened it, standing there in Atlantean clothes, was Princess Percilla.

"Percy!" The three boys shouted as they rushed to their friend, she smiled and rushed forward. They had a huge group hug, and Roy could tell they where close.

"Ok, now all of you behave for Roy. Otherwise Alfred will send Percy back to Themescyra, and Anthony to Ma and Pa." Superman said, and they nodded.

"Ok, don't let Dick into the sugar. Wally can't have Soda, Percy can only have water, and if possible try to get them in bed by 9." Batman Said, before he gave Dick a kiss on the forehead.

"Behave Percy, otherwise Antiope and Alexis will come and get you." Aquaman Said, and the little girl nodded her head vigorously. Before she hugged her dad, and he kissed her head.

"Have fun, but don't make us regret letting you do this." Flash Said as he hugged Wally then sped off. The kids waved, and then went to unpack. Percilla also went to change, she didn't want to wear her princess clothes. So she asked Alfred for help, because she doesn't wear normal clothes like, ever.

"Mistress Percilla, how about these black leggings and this orange shirt?" The butler asked, and she nodded. He helped her put them on, because of how different they where from Atlantean clothes, and what she wore on Themescyra.

"There you go, now go have fun." Alfred Said, and Percy gave him a kiss on the cheek before she ran off to find the boys. She found them at the Manor's indoor pool, and she smiled. They have yet to learn stuff from her, so maybe she can teach them how to properly do things in water.

"Why don't we go into the pool? I can teach you underwater combat, or how to swim, or we could just play?" Percilla suggested, and the boys all liked that idea. Even Roy, so they ran off to get their swimsuits on. Percilla just had to put her practice outfit on, which she might just stay in.

When she got back to the pool, she found the boys waiting for her. She smiled, they all had rash guards on, and goggles.

"Ok, so into the pool." Percy Said, as she gestured to the pool. The boys looked at what she was wearing, and where confused. It looked like blue leggings with a sea green skirt, with a sea dream top.

"Percy, where's your swimsuit?" Asked Roy, and she pointed to her clothes.

"Oh wait, those are your clothes." Wally Said, and Percy nodded. Then jumped into the pool, she smiled. It was a salt water pool, not chlorine. Chlorine wasn't as fun to swim in, and she didn't like the feel of the chemicals.

"Ok, first let me teach you how to properly swim." Percy Said, as she went underwater. The boys followed, each wearing a read breather, except Anthony. He was breathing water, like a fish.

'Ok, so when you're swimming underwater, the key is to use small movements. So you don't use too much energy, like this." Percy Said, as she demonstrated, and then the boys tried. It took a while, but they eventually got it.

'Ok, so, combat underwater is a lot different than on the surface. Water offers resistance, it can be used against you, it can even make things seem harder or heavier.' She explained, they saw her take off her necklace.

'When fighting underwater, it's best to use a weapon that has a range and can easily be used.' She Said, as the water morphed into a awesome trident.

'I prefer a trident, but a staff will work just as well. Now, the reason why i say a staff or a trident is because the water can be difficult to quickly change positions in. These weapons require little movement to adjust, and they are pretty easy to use.' She explained, as she did some moves with her trident. Then she put it away, and went on to explaining hand to hand combat.

They had spent the entire day in the pool, learning how to fight underwater. They really were grateful for it, because they knew they needed it.

"Ok, that was fun. What should we do tomorrow?" Roy Asked the kids, and they looked at Percy.

"I could teach you some tricks I learned from Aunt Diana." She Said, and they all smiled. Then went to bed, however, the kids pulled a prank on Roy. They trapped him in the bathtub, and died him half blue. He yelled at them for ten minutes before laughing, with them joining in. None wanted this week to end, because it was so much fun!
