Second Chance

Chapter 11:

It was the summer time, and the royal family of Atlantis was staying at their summer villa. The Italian style home was right by the water, and had its own Zeta.

They got this home so Percilla could learn more of the surface world, and it's ways. This was the first time her new little brother, who she got to name. Her parents loved the name she chose, and she loved it.

Her baby brother, who was Prince of Atlantis. Second in line for the throne, first in line to be her advisor. However, she can abdicate the throne and become her little brothers advisor.

She wanted to spend as much time with her month old brother as she could, but she had training with the team today. So she told her parents she was going to visiting Anthony, code word for team stuff.

She made it to Metropolis, and went to Anthony's home. When he answered the door they left, heading straight for the roof. Where she used her sorcery to change their appearances, and put them in their suits. Then Anthony let her hold on around his neck before he flew them to the cave.

When they got there, the others where just arriving. Her and Anthony where speaking in a very old dialect that she had to learn in her studies on Themescyra, it was a dead language, but if they wanted private discussions.

"I can't believe mom and dad are letting us stay at the villa this year, Nereus is so small still. I have been worried his lounges will give out, this is the earliest I've ever seen an Atlanean allowed out of the ocean.

I wasn't even allowed on the surface world till I was four, and even then, I still had trouble breathing. I just don't want my brother to die." She told her best friend, while they waited for Wally, Robin, Artemis, and Canary to arrive.

"Percy, your brother will be fine. Your parents wouldn't have brought him to the surface if they thought it would endanger his health, they are even more overprotective than Bruce." Anthony told her, and she laughed. That statement was true, which was surprising.

"Ok, today we will be working on underwater combat." Canary told them, making some of them groan.

"You need to know how to properly fight in water, Kaldur won't always be here to cover water. He might be busy in Atlantis, so, let's go." Canary told them, and Percy did a double take when did Robin, Wally, and Artemis get here?

When they got to the hangar to work on their underwater combat, an emergency transmission came through. It was from Percy's summer home, she gasped.

'This is Queen Mira of Atlantis, we're under attack. Requesting Antiope immediately!' The atlantean Queen Said, and everyone looked to Antiope. However, she was halfway to the zeta. She got there and typed in codes, before she spun back around.

"Malcom, I need a lift, now!" She Shouted, and Anthony flew to her and then they flew out of the cave. Fast.

'Aquaman to Cave, don't come here. They are trying to lure in Percilla, they are trying to kill my kids. Mira has hidden with our son, but there are too many.' Aquaman Said, and that got the team to look at Canary.

"Canary, it is my duty to protect my king, queen, and their children. I have to go, they are my priority." Kaldur Said, and Canary nodded.

"All if you go, go now." She Said, and the team ran into the Bioship, and flew after Malcom. Who was already across the country, at the summer villa.

Once we got close, I flung myself off of Anthony. I landed, then sprinted to my families summer home. I knew I shouldn't have left them, I knew something bad was gonna happen.
