One month later...

Percy stared at her surface world clothes in frustration, she had no clue what she should wear for her team building exercise with the team which required her to wear civis, as Dick loved calling them in their youth.

She was so frustrated that she grabbed her phone and called Dick because she was just about done trying to figure out her surface clothes, 'hey Percy. What's up?' He asked her and she huffed, "Kaldur called and said that I've got to attend a mandatory bonding day with the rest of the team today, and I needed to go to the location he sent me in civis, but I do not know what's appropriate to wear for something like this anymore."

Dick laughed and she used her powers to smack him with water on his end and she smirked when he shouted from the cold water she doused him with, 'gah. Sorry, no need to freeze me. Anyway, if you're going out with the team in civis I'd suggest you wear your dark blue skinny jeans with the cream lace panel button detail flare cuff blouse and your black puimentiua flat loafers with the square toe ballet flats that have the ankle strap.'

Percy pulled those items out of her closet with a raised eyebrow, "do I want to know how you know what is in my closet off of memory?" She asked him and he chuckled, 'probably not. However I am a detective,' and she snorted at that.

"No ship Sherlock," she sarcastically told him and he bursted out laughing and she rolled her eyes as she began to put on the outfit. "Oh laugh it up bird brain, it's not like I haven't recorded you saying even cringier things before."

Dick started choking on his laughter and Percy smirked knowing she'd won, 'you know Percy, sometimes, you can be a real pain in the ass.' He muttered grumpily and she smiled triumphantly and replied in a sing song voice, "I know, but that's why you're friends with me. I keep things real," and she could practically hear his eye roll from over the phone. 'Keep telling yourself that,' he told her with a chuckle before he sighed, 'sorry to cut this short, but I've got to go. Call me later to tell me how it went, I wanna hear how your first day of normal teenage activities went.'

She froze, "what do you mean? I've done normal things recently, and I've gone out in public a whole lot since I was rescued from Cadmus."

He sighed and then spoke quietly, 'this is the first time that you've got on any sort of group hangout since Anthony passed fish face. While I know you're working to let others back in, you're still having trouble truly connecting to others.'

She groaned and sat down heavily on her bed, "ugh, you sound like mother and father." She whined and he sighed, 'maybe because we all care about you. Now, I've seriously gotta go. Love ya sis, and don't go killin anyone.'

Then he hung up, and Percy sighed before she tossed her phone aside and glanced at the photo on her nightstand. It was a picture of Anthony, Wally, Roy uh Will, Dick, and herself back when they were kids. At a public event where they were dressed up, and they'd been so happy and carefree. Now all that was left of their friend group was just Dick, Will, and herself, three out of the five of them still alive but they were badly damaged from the losses.

"Maybe Anthony was right," she said to herself as she stared at the picture, "perhaps it is time for me to let go of my fears and finally open myself up to others once again."

Vergil, Cassy, Tim, Bart, Jaime, Connor, Megan, Mal, Karen, Barbra, Kaldur, Wolf, Artemis, Garfield, and Sphere all were waiting by the ruins of Mount Justice. Today was gonna just be a day where they could relax and not think about the fate of the world, and Percy was the only one who had yet to arrive.

"Where is she? It's been five minutes since she was supposed to be here," Karen said and Kaldur sighed. "Hopefully Percy has not chosen to hide," he said but that's when Percy suddenly materialized in front of them and she looked apologetic.

"Apologies for my tardiness, but I was cornered by a few delegates as I attempted to leave my family's surface home. I tried to escape them however they were persistent that I read over and signed off on the political agreements in which we are hoping to enact," she said and the senior team members smiled at her.

"It is quite alright Percy, you are here after all." Kaldur said and she nodded, "indeed. Since the situation in Atlantis has worsened, Kaldur, I fear that the Puritis are about to start massacring so many Atlanteans. Though I have enacted a plan to subdue them, I just pray it will work."

Kaldur nodded sympathetically to his princess, he knew all about the current situation in Atlantis and it was far from pleasant for anyone to stomach. That's when the younger members of the team gathered around her and began to talk, the older members of the team all smiled as they watched Percy finally relax after everything that she's been through.

No matter how dark things got, it seemed that Percy would always be able to bounce back. She was as resilient as the ocean itself, and truly a force to be reckoned with.
