3 months later...

Percy sighed as she stared out at Atlantis from her bedroom window, she was very uneasy. Today was the day she was going to address not only her people, but the entire planet about something that she's kept secret practically her entire life. It was also gonna be reminding people that she had been adopted and was not from the royal bloodline.

"Percy?"

She turned around and saw her parents floating by her door and she gave them a weak smile, "oh Percy." Her mother said as she swam forward and gave her a hug, "you do not have to go through with this if you do not want to sweetie." Her mother said and she shook her head, "no. I have to do this mother, meta teens have no voice in the surface world and I cannot keep hiding what I am, I have to accept what I am and I can do nothing but hope the people accept me once they learn the truth."

Her mother nodded and her father placed a hand in her shoulder, "I am so proud of you Percy. You will make a wonderful ruler one day," he told her and she smiled at her father.

"Well, I best get ready for my speech." She told her parents and they nodded and left her room so she could change, and she took a deep breath before she swam to her vanity and picked up her tiara.

"Well, there's no turning back now." She said before she placed her tiara upon her head and swam out of her room.

Bart was hanging out with Jaime at his house when the news channel came on and Jaime's mother gasped in shock, and both boys were interested in what had Jaime's mother so shocked. So they snuck down to the living room and listened as well as watched what was on the news.

'For those of you just joining us today, the crown princess of Atlantis is going to address the world at any moment now.' Iris West-Allen said, but she paused and listened to her earpiece, 'we are just now receiving footage from Atlantis as Princess Percilla is about to make her announcement.'

Iris' image was replaced by live footage coming from Atlantis, and both boys gasped as they saw their teammate wearing a tiara and a dress that was practically identical to her suit she wore for missions.

'Thank you to both surface dwellers and Atlanteans for taking the time away from your busy schedules to be here today, and for those surface dwellers that do not know who I am, I am Princess Percilla, the crown princess of Atlantis.' They saw Percy sigh and take a deep breath, 'and I have chosen to give this announcement for it is time that I stop hiding what I am from everyone.'

This caused many people to gasp, because they had no idea what was she talking about.

'Many Atlanteans might not remember this, but I am not of the royal bloodline like my brother Nereus. I was adopted by King Orin and Queen Mera seventeen years ago today, they saved me from perishing and then they took me in as their own. They have accepted me as their daughter and named me the heir to the throne, despite the fact that I am not fully Atlantean, despite the fact that my biological parents were an Atlantean and a surface dweller.'

This caused shock to radiate from everyone watching this, because nobody had known this. Nobody had any idea that the crown princess of Atlantis was half human, that she wasn't fully Atlantean.

'I have ignored my own bloodline for far too long, just as I have ignored what my bloodline has made me.' Percy sighed and and looked down, 'though it has been nearly five months since the Reach have left earth, their work in abducting teenagers and changing them has not gone away.' Percy lifted her head up and began to speak in a louder volume, she was speaking with the voice of a leader. 'The surface world is facing this new threat of meta-teen trafficking, and most of these children have yet to be found and those children who already know about their own powers live in constant fear.
