so it's a new year things started going great I had just got from my dads
i got the news at the airport she told me I would have to go live with my grandma and go to Smith High School
I was hella happy I enjoyed being with my granny and I definitely wanted to go to a new school
I was so pumped up so she dropped me off with the things I had and me and my cousin went to the mall to get me a couple of new things because my child support had just dropped and I had a little bit of money
I ended up getting a lot of outfits with about $200
of course they had back to school sells going on
i got some black pants and a cropped sweatshirt with some red checkerboard vans for the first day of school
I was starting school tomorrow and I was scared what people would think of me
my mom had already registered me and stuff like that and all I had to was catch the bus and go to school
we got back to my grandma house and she had cooked a Sunday dinner like always
so me and my cousin has a inside joke about each other and crack little jokes on how we only come over here when it's time to eat
definitely her only way to get her to go somewhere was to say they had food
so we ate and I went and took a long bath
I was so happy this was the happiest I had been since 2017 that summer and I loved the way it felt
I was with my grandma I didn't have to deal with my negative mother and I was going to a new school meaning I could changed things about me and no one would know
my hair was done and I was living my best life
6:00am
I woke up happy ass hell my clothes was laying out
I had my lotion and also my bath and body works and deodorant and stuff like that lined up and I was ready
I pulled my braids back in a ponytail at the top I had some goddess box braids and was feeling myself a little
I put my clothes on and grabbed my binder which only had paper and two note books in it and walked down to the bus stop
I was so scared it finally hit me I go to a new school meaning I gotta figure out how I'm finna get friends
so I came up with a plan imma be the girl who keep it real but nice tho imma be like the pretty girl
that was my real personality but I never showed it cause I was afraid of what people might of thought about me so I always came off as a mean shy girl which was not true whatsoever I made a status on Facebook saying
" WHO ALL GO TO SMITH AND NEED NEW FRIENDS "😘
While standing at the bus stop a few boys started walking toward me to also wait for the bus
I was the only girl so it's three boys and one girl so how tf I'm I supposed to make friends
one boy came up to me his name was Anthony he asked what was my name and I told him and of course this nigga asked for my number
I gave it to him cause this could be a way I could make friends
while waiting on the bus I started talking to the boys
I might of came of as a hoe but I was far from that but they were really cool and me and Anthony really had a vibe going on not like boyfriend and girlfriend but more a brother type of relationship and he also said the same thing
so that day he became my fake brother
I started off on a really good foot he also played football so I knew he was popular
not soon after the bus pulled up and I sat in the middle of the bus
I didn't expect no one to sit with me but Anthony sat with me and Rell and this boy they called Nemo sat with Rell
they called him Nemo cause I swear to god he looked just like a fish
after awhile more people got on the bus and I found myself making hella friends and I haven't even got to the school yet
the whole time we was on the bus we cracked on each other they didn't have much to say about me but boy did they crack on my laugh
I can admit it my laugh was weird as hell
I was having so much fun i couldn't wait to get to the school to see what it was all about
