About a month later:
We had grew closer together in about two months
and me and podie finally moved in together my momma didn't like it whatsoever and said she would go down to the police and file a rape report on podie
I really don't know why cause he was only two years older than me but sometimes I just had to ignore that crazy lady
me and podie were supposed to be going to a railroad party the crips throw every five months so everyone could get to see each other
while podie was sleep I went to get my hair done by my auntie the only person I let touch my hair
I decided to get a sew in but blue and like a grey at the ends my auntie was the best at hair and charged me so cheap and I loved her for that
I also went and got my nails done and went and bought I new outfit
I decided I would spoil myself today cause I was always doing for other people
I got home and my big baby was still sleep and it was 1:00pm
I showered him in kisses til he kissed me back I laid on top of him and started playing with his hair
I swear this boy had some great hair but he says he's not mix with anything which I know is a lie cause his grandma is clearly Hispanic and married a black man and his mom Is mixed and his dad is fully black so he was obviously lying
sooner or later we got up to get ready for this party and I was scared to go because I knew no one but like three people cause the girls didn't like me for what reason I don't know and podie didn't want me hanging with the boys cause he was jealous
I had on all black and my shirt had a glittery blue logo on it and blue Jordan's
when we got to the party my ass did not wanna get out of the car
I just sat there i looked around the party Podie actually had to pick me up out of the car because when they said a crip party I assumed it was just the ones in our neighborhood but no it was people from all over the state and some even from out of state
I grabbed podie's arm and walk around kinda behind him trying not to be seen
I knew I was bothering him but he would live
we went to a group of men and podie obviously knew them
from out the corner of my eye I seen this fine ass boy you know you fine when I don't even have to look at you but out the corner of my eye
I fully looked over at him and waved I didn't take it as cheating cause I was trying to make new friends
podie and his friends wasn't talking bout shit so I wonder off and ended up at the liquor table
I poured some Henny into a cup and mixed it with a can of Dr Pepper
I mean I had nothing else to do but get drunk I went and sat down on the railroad and watched podie talk
then I saw that boy again he came and sat next to me and started talking
"What's yo name babygirl"
"Kay'mani but you can call me Kay"
"You gotta unique name who named you that"
"My auntie my momma was to high to give me a name probably would have been some stupid shit"
"We both laughed and I asked for his name"
