Austin: I honestly think it is. Some people really want to think that this universe is the best thing to happen to godzilla. And when TOHO made films during the time, some fans NEEDLESSLY compared the films that came out from toho with the films that came out around the time that were within the monsterverse as if the films and their themes are some how even remotely comparable.
