And just like that, I was on a runway. The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was that there was a plane sitting there ready to be boarded. It was a bit confusing since the last thing I remembered was seeing black seats with tinted windows before waking up in a totally new environment. Not only was I completely perplexed, but I also was surrounded by at least thirty heavy duty, bodyguard looking, men.

The one closest to me looked no older than twenty. I knew whatever was going to happen to me would not be pretty, so I needed to know how to mentally prepare myself.

"Psssst" I whispered in his direction

He refused to look at me even though I could clearly tell he heard me by the way his ear and eyebrows became alert.

"Pssssssst," I said it again longer

"What?" He didn't look over

"Where are we going"

"I can't tell you that" he snapped

"Please" I begged

"No"

"Why?"

I made sad eyes at him before he looked around to see if anyone was looking.

"Castelnou, France" he squinted

"What? Why?" My voice squeaked

"That is where the auction will start. We are only sealing the deal to Brazilians" he pulled his head back to its original position

"Auction? Like a slave auction?" My body began to slow down

"No.."

This is not making any sense.

"Then why aren't we going to Brazil?"

"I don't fucking know"

"Alright" I decided to give up

As we arrived at the front of the jets steps I saw a cop car drive past. I quickly screamed out for help before I got shoved up all eleven steps and put into the furthest chair. Then I felt a sharp pain in my left arm to only be met with darkness again. Guess I'm leaving on a jet plane.

13+ Hours later

I now find myself in a pure white bed. The room had a rustic vibe that made me miss my home. It only took two seconds to realize I wasn't alone. There were two older women sitting in chairs whispering while watching me.

"Combien pensez-vous qu'elle va aller pour?"
[How much do you think she will go for?] the one on the right whispered raising an eyebrow towards me

"Je ne sais pas" [I do not know] the one on the left whispered back

"Pensez-vous qu'elle peut nous comprendre?" [Do you think she can understand us?] the right spoke up again

"Pamela, je ne sais pas!" [Pamela, I do not know!]

"Je peux ... je parle presque couramment le français ..." [I can... I speak French fluently...]
I made my voice present
