General POV

Once Stefani and Bradley arrived in their room it was the longest ten hours of their life.

Contraction after contraction Stefani felt all of it. She wanted a natural birth with no pain killers but after another fibro. spasm hit her she decided maybe an epidural wasn't so bad.

It took about ten minutes before the strong effects took over her little body, but sooner or later Stefani fell into a relaxed state of mind.

"What are you feeling" Bradley spoke softly as Stefani was squishing her eyelids together

"I don't really know" she spoke in the same tone as he did "I just really want to see her"

"Hey, guys!" One of two nurses said while walking in with a doctor

"I'm Doctor Roy Balvugain!" He smiled pushing his hand out for us to shake "I'm going to be welcoming your baby into the world sometime today or tomorrow"

"Tomorrow?" Bradley kind of panicked

"Well, we'll see, I'm just about to take a look at how dilated you are" he sat down on the stool and rolled closer to the bed

He lifted up the blanket Stefani was using and bent her legs at a 70° angle.

After a few minutes of looking and sticking medical stuff up there, he clarified that she's about five-six centimeters.

"You are progressing more slowly and it's probably due to her having the Intrauterine growth restriction"

"Okay, So at this rate when do you think she will be born"

"Well your water already broke and the baby is blocking from more fluid coming out. After your water breaks, you have a good twelve to twenty-four hours of contractions that can occur. I don't really have a good estimate since it's been ten hours and you are only six centimeters. The average dilation we start getting ready is around seven through ten. Ten is always our goal, but if she's ready to pop out anytime then we have to be ready" the doctor smiled while taking his gloves off

"Okay. Thank you!" Stefani gave him a smile as well

"I'll be back in twenty or thirty minutes and check again" he waved off as he left the room

"I'm Ruby Ashland and this is Sasha Vilas" two younger nurses introduced themselves

"We will be two of the three nurses in the room ready to take care of your child. We just want to ask a few questions before things get serious and you don't want to answer these" Ruby grabbed a clipboard

"That are just basic baby stuff that's more for viewing pleasure and how you want the operation to turn out" Sasha sat down next to the heated bed thing the baby will be in when she comes out

"Okay, go ahead" Stefani smiled sitting up

"Would you rather want a basic hat for her or one with a bow on the front"

"With a bow!" Stefani's face lit up

"Okay" Sasha giggled grabbing a hat with a bow from under the incubator looking crib
