The morning came way too fast, and before I knew it, my alarm was going off. I didn't have anything to do today but I refuse to let myself waste the day sleeping so I try to get up around 8:30 unless I have a very late night.

I reluctantly got up, the pounding in my head intensifying as I did so.

I slowly grabbed my phone and dragged to my bathroom, grabbing some advil out of the cabinet and using water from the tap to get them down.

I started the shower, grabbing two towels and checking my phone.

I had a couple text notifications and a few instagram DMs.

I went to instagram and saw a few select notifications that made me smile.

"ChaseAtlantic mentioned you in their story", they had reposted the video I put on my story of their show last night.

Also I had, MitchelCave is now following you and TheChristianAnthony is now following you.

I followed them back, as I genuinely had not known who they were until last night.

I looked through a few pictures on Mitchel's account, my mind couldn't help but gush over how attractive I found him.

I checked the water to make sure it wasn't cold and stepped in, the hot water sliding down my body, relaxing my muscles.

The music that was blaring through my speaker stopped and was interrupted by a text notification. My heart sped up in anticipation and I tried to tell myself that it probably wasn't him.

God, I need to chill out, we just met last night.

I hurried my shower along and got out, wrapping a towel around myself. As soon as I got out I went straight to my phone.

unknown number: hey this is mitchel, me and the guys are trying to do something today and we'd love you to show us the best spots around here if you aren't busy
me: for sure !! could you guys come to my apartment and we could walk from here?
mitchel: yeah send us ur address, can we come in an hour?
me: yea that'd be perfect :)

My heart raced, I can't believe he wants to see me again. I know I sound like a high school girl who got a text from the captain of the football team but I really couldn't help it.

I had already planned where I'd take them when they got here, and what we could do for lunch and I was ecstatic.

There was this amazing restaurant like five minutes from the apartment and it has the best food and a lot vegan options for me.

I blow dried my hair and put on mascara and filled in my eyebrows, figuring I didn't need much makeup for this trip. I wore a loose white crop top and black leggings with my white nike's.

I went out to look for Sierra and tell her what was going on but she didn't seem home. This was really out of the ordinary for her because she doesn't usually leave this early in the morning.

I sent her a snapchat, questioning her whereabouts. She sent back a very vague message saying she was just out and would be back later.

Today was a Saturday so I didn't have any classes, which meant I could spend the whole day with this band I met last night.

The entire situation seemed so surreal.

I got a text saying they were here so I fed Sierra and I's cat before heading down to the lobby to meet them.

I walked out the front doors of the lobby to see the large group of boys messing around and laughing.

Mitchel spots me and waves me over with a big smile on his face.

"Hey babe, how are ya?" Though harmless, the pet name sent chills down my spine. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and squeezed before releasing me back to say hi to the others.

I recognized a couple boys from last night but not all of them. "Jesse and Clinton you met last night and this is Pat and Ryan." He pointed out the new faces and I waved introducing myself as Kayla.

"So, What're our plans for the day?" Mitchel's tone was confident, as always.

He looked different today, he seemed younger, more innocent perhaps.

"I was thinking we could walk some downtown and I'd show you some touristy things, and then we could go to lunch at my favorite restaurant around here. It's mostly locals."

I was down to change things if they weren't feeling it that was just what I had been thinking.

"Sounds great." Clinton spoke up and they all nodded in agreement.

"Okay, uhh, let's start this way." We headed out and it wasn't long before they were fascinated by all of the arts and beauty of this part of NYC.

We walked in a big group, chatting about things that weren't important, pointing out interesting things they saw.

Mitchel and I fell behind as I was observing the boys and their wide eyes as they tried to take in the city.

"They look pretty funny from back here huh?" Mitchel laughed slightly.

"I've just gotten so used to the city I forget people don't see this everyday." I smiled, watching them point out people riding past on the electric scooters spread throughout the city.

"I guess I'm just distracted watching something else," his voice lowered to insure no one else heard him.

I looked over at him, a big smile on my face, "oh yeah?" I egged him on, letting him know it was okay.

"Yes, you're very distracting." He said louder, a blush rising to my cheeks.

Our arms were brushing as we walked and even the subtle contact caused butterflies in my stomach.

"We're falling pretty far behind," I acknowledged, Mitchel still looking at me.

"Another thing I didn't even notice, I think being around you is bad for my safety." I giggled, shoving him playfully.

He laughed back and I couldn't help but look at him as he smiled, practically hypnotized by him.

I looked up just in time to see the boys all spread out, looking for scooters of their own to get on to ride around.

"Do you wanna get one?" I pointed at an unoccupied scooter on the side of the street.

"I'd rather just walk to be honest," his eyes met mine and I couldn't bring myself to break the gaze.

"Me too." I must've seemed like a crazy fan girl the way I was acting around him, but I couldn't help it.
