"It's been a week." She started, arms folded to her chest as she grew more and more uncomfortable. Jason shrugged, avoiding her stare. Piper shivered, trying to find the right words to say to her blond boyfriend.
"Something happened. I don't know what but you are getting distant and I don't know how to explain what I'm feeling to you without fearing you just wouldn't care." Jason let out a small sigh. "I have this thing, and, uh... can we just be friends?"
Jason winced at how generic his response sounded. "O-oh." Piper stammered, not bothered to hide any emotions as they crashed like waves on her face.
"I'm sorry."
