Fast forward 3 months later after I got ungrounded, I called my friend.
"(My friend's name)!" I exclaimed happily.
"What?"
"I got ungrounded today."
"Sweet! Wanna do a group call later with (Friend #2's name) on Instagram?"
"Sure."
"Awesome!" My friend exclaimed. "How's your new school?"
"Not as good as that school, but it's okay."
"That's good to hear. Is your mom's boyfriend nice?"
"Yeah, his name is Jason." (Jason is a fake person. My mom and stepdad are still together, so no, I did not invade anybody's privacy) I said. "So what time do you want to do the video call?"
"I'm gonna be a little busy for the next little bit, but we can do it at 9 tonight."
"Sounds good."
"Alright, talk to you later." My friend said as she hung up.
