They Are Coming - Chapter 19

Hange and I make our way to Mikasa and Levi. I ordered a guard to transfer Annie from the Survey Corps infirmary to the castle one, seeing as she is now royalty. 

We enter the room and see a crumpled Mikasa on the floor and Levi just glaring as he leans against a near by wall, "I thought-I thought all my family was dead!" Mikasa looked broken. She stood up and threw her self onto Levi, straddling him on the floor, "And you kept this from me, the whole time!? I don't care if you are my corporal, but I will kill you right now!" 

"But you will listen to your queen, Mikasa! I command you get off of him at once!" Mikasa turns her head to me, looking frightened, "I suggest you act fast before you spend the night in the dungeons. "Mikasa, he was not the only one that knew. I did, too. I could tell by the mannerism and the determination in your eyes. But, please, take some time to calm down, a guard will show you to Eren. He is eating right now." Mikasa is shown out of the room. 

Hange and Levi stand idle and so I begin to speak, "Okay, I know. You have many questions, but we don't have time to answer those right now. We have to prepare for war, and fast. Next week, we will retake wall Maria, and from the gates of Shiganshina, we will guard and prepare for battle. Do you understand, Hange?" 

"Yes, I do? But why must we prepare for battle? Is something coming?" Hange looked excited yet confused. 

I looked at them both, "More like they are coming, an acquaintance we all had from not too long ago." I turned my gaze away. "Now that Zeke is dead, his people will be coming for me, therefore they will attack us. I don't mean for this to come out this way but... we will be using Annie's titan powers for this." 

Hange's eyes widen, her mouth drools, "OHHHHH YEAHHHH! More experiments!" Hange jumps up and down. 

Levi swats her, "Shut it, Shitty-Glasses, no experiments, Liz will train them." 

"AWW MAN!" Hange cries. 

I chuckle slightly. Levi's eyes turn to me and then he looks away, I can tell he wants to be alone with me. "Hange, go eat with the others and tell your soldiers the plan. Get ready." 

She nods, sprinting out the door. 

I stare back at Levi, "I know you want something." 

He scoffs, "Yes, I do." 

"And what is that?" I glare at him. 

"I need answers, Liz." Levi looks fairly angry. 

"The answer is, I deceived you all. What else is their to say?" I cross my arms. 

"No Liz, I don't mean that. I mean, who are we really facing?" 

I look away, "Do you really want to know?" 

"Yes."

I scoff, "An army of trained warriors, led by the last of the titan shifters not on our side." 

His eyes widen a bit, but go back to their regular position, "And you know them, I'm guessing?"

"We all know them, Levi." 

"Then who are they?"

I look down, "Reiner and Bertolt." 

"What-What do you mean?"

"They worked for Zeke. They killed Ymir, and now... and now they are coming for revenge and I will kill them. Just watch me." My eyes flashed red. Then I look away fast and cover my eyes, "I must go to Eren and Annie, we will start training today. I'll meet you in my quarters at 9 tonight." 

I scurry away to the training yard, where my nephew and daughter are waiting for me.
