“We are gonna be late we are gonna be late!” Winter shouted carrying a bag of items. Zipper also had a bag of things with a little yellow sparkly bow on it. “Calm down winter we will make it we do live in the castle.” Zipper said calming her down. “Yeah I guess.” Winter said. Zipper smiled and walked out of the room to the throne room where he spotted seaport,nightstander,another opossum named feather,and jade. Seaport was hanging up a banner with jade holding him up with her tail. Nighterstander was setting up the table and feather was blowing balloons. Jade noticed zipper and greeted him “hey zip!” “Hey jade wow you all did so well with this Zira would be excited for this baby shower!” Zipper shouted. “I know I planned it myself.” Seaport said as he hopped down from jade’s tail walking up to zipper. “I had the idea of balloon and it’s very different colors!” Feather said proudly. “Nice job feather.” Nightstander said. “Watashi no shin'yu ni kansha.” Feather replied. “What.” Nightstander said. “I said thank you my good friend in Japanese silly.” Feather giggled. Feather was a new recruit from months ago. She was deported from japan and came to America learning much about the culture and language. “Ay Feather you’re gonna need to teach us some Japanese sometime.” Seaport laughed. “Yeah ha.” Feather laughed. ,Zipper chuckled as he walked to the gifts table. He set his gift right beside feather’ gift. The doors open winter and a few others came in seemed like Zira and seaport’s family.

 

Everything was all set up and everyone waited for the queen to arrive. Zipper waited by the snack table eating a little portions of crackers since he was a bit hungry. Then someone ran in “The Queen is coming!” Everyone turned to the door quickly waiting for her majesty to come in. When she did everyone threw confetti and yelled “surprise!” “Oh my I didn’t expect this!” Zira said jumping back a bit. A few minutes later everyone was enjoying their time at the baby shower. There were a few moms speaking to Zira so zipper wanted a chance to say congratulations. Zipper made his way over to Zira greeting her with a smile. “Hey congratulations on your new baby..or babies.” Zipper said. “Oh thank you zipper you rule.” Zira said. “Heh no problem!” Zipper said. Then Zira turned back to someone she was talking to. Then a tall opossum pushed past everyone just to get to Zira. Zira and the other opossum had finished talking so it was the big guy’s chance. “Hello there queen Zira.” He said. “Oh hi there whoever you are.” Zira replied. “They call me spencer and I have a mission for you.” Spencer said. “A mission about what?” Zira replied. “There is an ancient city in mushroom forest with a secret artifact someone wants to steal I heard it would be dangerous.” Spencer said. “I cannot go I’m pregnant.” Zira said worryingly. “So that’s what this party is for.” Spencer chuckled. “I’ll go if you don’t mind.” Zipper said to him.” You go to mushroom forest alone nonsense.” Spencer said. “You can go with him then.” Zira said. “Perhaps I can.” Spencer paused for a moment then continued. “What’s your name little guy.” “I’m zipper.” “Ahh zipper so your the guy everyone is talking about.” “Yeah basically.” Zipper said. “Hmm ok we set off tomorrow morning meet you in the throneroom.” Spencer nodded then left the party

 

After the party zipper was cleaning up trash with winter. “You really didn’t need to help me zipper.” Winter said. “Worth it.” Zipper replied. He was sweeping stuff into the dust pan until he saw something shiny. He gasped and dug through the trash to see a shiny necklace. “Maybe I should give it to winter on her birthday.” He murmured to himself. Winter’s birthday was 2 months from now and he was excited. He wrapped the necklace on his tail and continued cleaning up the room with winter. A little bit later he was tired and wanted to go to bed but nightstander stopped him by calling his name. “What do you need.” Zipper groaned. “Sorry to disturb you zipper but I have sort of a warning.” Nightstander said. “Go on.” “Well I know you are getting an artifact from a far away place but there are animals you may not have seen before.” Nightstander replied. “Like what?” Zipper said. “Wolves,bears,snakes,and even martens.” Nightstander said coldly. “Oh thanks for the info I’m sure we should stay more alert.” Zipper said quickly running into his bedroom falling asleep in the night less sky.
