Detective Wang had placed himself next to me, which I hadn't even noticed due to the shock I was experiencing. They found Minah's body was what Yoongi had said.

"What does this mean, detective?", I asked him, still not realizing what impact those words had on me.

He didn't answer. The detective turned to Yoongi and said: "Don't worry, we'll find out who did it."

Did what?

Mr. Min stepped out next to us. "Thank you for informing us. You didn't have to, so we appreciate it."

The detective merely nodded and put his hat back on.

"What's going on?", I dared to ask again. The detective was a little confused over who I was and didn't seem to want to say anything, but Yoongi clarified.

"It's fine", he spoke. "She's with me."

Those words should have made me happy, but in this moment my mind began registering what I had just heard. They had found Minah's body.

"A body has been found at a nearby creek. At least what's left of it."
Yoongi held on to a nearby fence, covering his mouth not to vomit and I just stood there with widened eyes.

"The DNA test is still running, but up until now, it seems to be pretty clear that it's her", Detective Wang continued. "The girl was shot."

Shot?

Even though Yoongi had already heard it once before, he still seemed to be shocked. This meant that she hadn't actually killed herself by jumping off...

Someone had murdered her.

The thought made my knees get weak, my vision blurry. Memories flashed before my eyes. Jimin. Minah's picture. The cliffs. The cold.

"I know that you've been living in Seoul since early this year, but I would like to ask you to stay here until further notice", the detective told Yoongi. "It would be helpful if you were close by if I had any questions about Minah. Or Jimin."

What did Jimin have to do with this?

Yoongi just nodded firmly. "Of course."

Damn it. We had wanted to leave this place as soon as possible and now he promised the detective that he would stay here. Yet again, like last time, something prevented us from leaving, but I understood that it was important. I looked over to Mr. Min, whose expression I couldn't decypher.  He glared at Yoongi before he rushed back into the house.

"Yoongi, open up", I called through his door a few hours later. I had given him time to cool down, but I really needed to clarify some things.

"He isn't reacting, is he?", Mr. Min, who was behind me, asked. He then hammered violently against the door and tried to open it, but it was locked. "Boy, open the door!"

"Or else? You'll get an axe and break in?", Yoongi replied to his father through the closed door.

With as much authority as I could gather, I placed a hand on his father's shoulder and said: "I think it would be better if you let me do this."

He seemed to want to object, but I shook my head.
"I think what happened yesterday evening is enough."

He seemed as if I had slapped him right across the face and took a step back.
"Sorry."
He walked off and when he was out of sight, I softly knocked on the door again.

"Your dad is gone now."

Instantly, I heard footsteps and the key turning in the lock. When I entered the room, I saw that Yoongi had pushed his armchair to the middle of the room and now threw himself onto it. In his face, I saw the remains of the anger he had towards his father and something else I couldn't decypher. He indicated that he wanted me to sit in the armchair next to him by patting the soft fabric next to where he was sitting.
