Having read book one I knew what the book was about. The author did not disappoint. The plot was compelling. The female lead is still pretty "green" so I can't relate to her. But I'm loving Uncle dearest and Drake of course.

Book two doesn't have quite the same feel as book one. This is neither good or bad. One comment and it's probably more a question. At some point, he tells her it's ok to sass back once it's not in the bedroom or a scene. I was under the impression that in these scenarios the Dom never turns off. Is this an indication that from the start she was special?

I'm enjoying the author's work so far and I'm looking forward to Book 3.

What did you think the book was about?

What did you think the book was about?

Something like 9 ½ weeks where a woman is seduced into giving her heart to a Dominant man.

Did you feel that the book fulfilled your expectations?

Sort of. It has a Ds component, but the initial seduction had happened in a previous book. Doesn't mean this book was bad, though.

What about the plot? Did it pull you in; or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book?

I liked the plot. I had no trouble reading the book for entertainment.

Do the characters seem real and believable? (Basically, can you relate to their predicaments? To what extent do they remind you of yourself or someone you know, if they do at all?)

The characters are relatable, if a little stereotypical.

How was the pacing of the chapters you read? (Consider if the scenes skipped or jumped randomly. Too fast or too slow? Why?)

I thought the pacing was really nice. There were only a few times I felt lost, but I think that as when it was assumed the reader would have knowledge from the previous books.

How was the description of the chapters you read? (Consider if there where any information bumps. Were there a lack of emotions, too little describing, telling rather than showing, etc.)

I think a little more description of the surroundings could be done, but we get a good sense of what the main character is feeling.

Describe what you liked or disliked about the writer's style? Why?

I liked the flow of the writing; it was smooth and, for the most part, seamless. I disliked all of the punctuation errors and grammatical error. For me, they are super distracting and I have an extremely hard time reading.

Would you read more of the author's work?

Probably not, but that's more about my taste in books than it is about the author and her writing style.

Comments on the writer's strongest, weakest writing trait, help request and give your overall personal thoughts.

I would agree with her assessment of her strong and weak points. I read, and edited, the first three chapters, to hopefully set her on the right path to editing the book (one on wattpad, two in a google doc). She would be helped a lot by studying punctuation and grammar. There are a lot of good videos on Youtube. I suggest one on commas first.
