•Will Solace•
————//————

"Can anybody read what they wrote down for the homework last night?" My English teacher droned on about the stupid homework that no one even cared about. Normally, I'd focus in class, at least to some extent. Today was different. Nico was the only thing on my mind. I just couldn't stop thinking about him. Was he okay? Where did he go? He said he'd go home. He's in the house where his father is.

'Goddamnit, Nico!' I mentally yelled at him, knowing good and well that it wouldn't solve anything.

A little buzz went off in my pocket, but what did I care. All my mind focused on was Nico.

Class finally ended and everyone rushed out. I pulled my phone out to check the time.

There on the screen was a text from the one and only pale boy whom Will was so worried about.

-I'm fine Solace.

I couldn't help but smirk at once again, the use of my surname. At least he's okay. Thank the gods.

School went my slowly and dreadfully as it usually did. When the last bell of the day rung, I practically jumped out of my seat.

Everyone scattered outside the building to catch up to their buses. Meanwhile, the football team and I were headed for the locker rooms to change into our gear. We had a huge game in a week and we intended to win.

"Where's your boyfriend, Will?" George smirked as a bunch of the guys laughed behind him. I simply rolled my eyes, hoping to avoid an argument.

"Oh, poor little Will. How can we possibly have a fairy on our team?" George mimicked in a high pitched voice, earning even more laughter.

"I don't know. Why don't we ask your dad, George? Huh? Let's ask him what it's like to be a fairy on the team." I locked eyes with George as all of his laughter died down. Everyone knew his father was gay and left them last year to be with a man. He pranced at me, throwing a punch. I threw a punch back at him until we were full on fighting.

"Break it up!" Coach's voice was heard in an echo throughout the locker room.

"You're dead, Solace!" The use of his surname coming from George wasn't nearly the same as when Nico said it.

'Nico.' I thought.

"That's enough!" Coach shouted at George.

"Now suit up and get ready! We have a huge game soon and we can't afford any distractions!" Veins popped up on his forehead as his face turned red.

Murmurs were heard, but everyone continued to suit up.

After a few hours, drills were completed and we were playing a practice game.

"Yes! Solace! Run!" Coach praised me in his usual yells.

"That's the kind of action that will make us win the championship!" Coach continued his shouts.

"Parker! Don't you dare screw this up!" I chuckled to myself. Ron Parker was the clumsiest on the team. He was good, but he got way too nervous.

Finally, practice came to an end. I was pumped for this game.

"Nice practice!" Some girl yelled over to us. When did she get there? I had no idea, but there she was. In a blue mini skirt with a white croptop. She held her hair into a high ponytail. Even in the ponytail, her hair was a few inches away from reaching her waist.

She waved me over and I went.

"You're Will Solace, right?" She questioned.

"Yeah. Sorry, I've never seen you around." I didn't have to ask her for her name because she caught on.

"I'm rosy. Like 'rose-see.'"

"Beautiful name." I smiled at her.

"You like that? You should hear my phone number." Rosy smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"Confident. I like that too." I smirked, taking my phone out of my pocket and handing her it.

Sure, Nico is on my mind so much lately, but it's already prooven. He's not gay and doesn't like me. I guess focusing on someone else might help.

"Alright. I'll text you later then, Rosy." I smiled and began walking away.

~~~
I stood in a huge line at Burger King, waiting. When I finally got to the counter, I ordered a whopper and fries. At an instant, my order had been done. Making my way to a table, I caught a glimpse of Brittney. She was with George.
I chuckled to myself as I sat down and took my phone out.
-Hey. It's Will.
I sent a text to Rosy as I began eating my freshly made burger.
Hey cutie ☺️
I smirked, reading the text.
The only cutie here is you ;)
She already thought I was cute, this would definitely be an advantage in order to get Nico the fuck out of my mind.
Rosy and I spent the whole night texting before I asked her on a date. Of course, she happily agreed. Too easy. It was Saturday tomorrow and I was going to take her to a small restaurant in downtown.
Godamn you, Nico Di'Angelo. Making me go on a date just to get you out of my mind.
I know this was way too freaking short, but I don't have anything planned for Will in this chapter. I do have a plan for Nico next chapter ;)
