It felt like the world stopped rotating at that moment. I can't believe it's truly her. But the look on her face proved it. The hatred she has always had for me.

Tears slipped from my eyes, I missed her so much. I hugged her.

She stayed frozen. I sobbed on her shoulders. "Layla," I whispered sobbing.

"where have you been? I thought you were dead. I missed you so much." I said crying.

She pushed me away from her, i fell to the ground. What just happened?

I looked up at her. She smiled bitterly.

"you're such a great actress, you should go apply for it and I'm sure you'd win an Oscar. You've always been the better one, which is all an act, slut." she snarled.

She had always used words that would leave scars on me.

I got up from the floor, i noticed a bruise on her hand.

"does it hurt?" I said taking her hand to look at the bruise, but she yanked it away.

"it's funny how you act as your care, and it doesn't suit you, quit the act!" she snapped.

"I am-" she cuts me off.

"you have always gotten what you wanted. but sis, I won't let you get away with this, You wanted me dead, didn't you. But sorry, not sorry, you didn't get that one, I'm so going to make you miserable."

"Lay-"

"get lost." she sneered before wearing her helmet, getting onto her bike, and driving off, Leaving a crowd of smoke.

I had so many questions to ask her. Who was that guy? And what did he want from her?

Oh god, what if she got herself into trouble. I'm so scared for her. Right now, she and daisy are my only family.

She might hate me, but I love her so much. I saw a paper on the floor, i quickly picked it up. There was an address on it.

Who owns the address? I wish it was Layla's. Or that motherfucker guy, then I wouldn't hesitate to arrest his ass.

I looked around again. This place looks like a deserted place. I had no idea how I got here. But you know what they say, everything happens for a reason.

I'd go to this address tomorrow.

I quickly walked straight back to the office. I took so much time.

I walked slowly to Xavier's office, thinking of an excuse. I would say I was looking for it and I couldn't find it.

I reached his office door, pushing the door open. He was doing some paperwork. His head snapped up, his eyes meeting mine.

"do you know what time it is, miss Hayden?"

"I'm so sorry, I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I went, uh, far away," I said quickly. Too quickly.

"And that's not an excuse. You were gone for 55 mins and 17 seconds. Time is money miss Hayden. You won't be paid for the time you were gone." he said.

Wow. This man does wonder me sometimes. The fact that he was counting the time I was gone was pretty funny. But he doesn't care.

"yes sir," I said and he waved me off. I turned around going back to my office.

My mind lingered back to Layla. How I wish we could mend our relationship and be a happy family.

I have some money now, I could rent an apartment for me, Daisy, and Layla to live in. But she wouldn't even want to be anywhere near me.
