"Hey, Steve." Diana entered the room alone.

"Hi, Diana." He replied.

"So, uh, I feel like you need an explanation- "Diana began to say but was interrupted.

"Listen, you don't need to if you don't feel comfortable. It's fine. I'll wait until you're ready to tell me." Steve clarified as he watched the beautiful woman sit across from him.

"No, I'm ready to tell you. It's okay." Diana said as she thought about how polite he was about everything. "I'm Diana of Themyscira, my mother is Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. I was sculpted out of clay by my mother and brought to life by Zeus. I was gifted powers from the Gods and Goddesses, like Hermes, I have the power to move at speeds a regular human can't." Diana paused.

"What do your weapons do?" Steve asked, curiously. Diana stood up and grabbed her weapons.

"This is the Lasso of Truth. Anytime I capture someone in it, it forces them to tell the truth. The gauntlets on my arms are called the Bracelets of Submission. They were reformed from the remains of Zeus's shield. And my sword is called the Sword of Athena. It's indestructible." She finished as she gazed at her long sword.

"I've lived in Themyscira my whole life until World War l. A man accidentally flew into Themyscira and I saved him from drowning. He told me about the war and I wanted to help and defeat Ares. I did beat him and stopped the war and was labeled as Wonder Woman."

"Wow. That's incredible. You really did save the world. What's the man's name that helped you?" Steve asked as Diana walked back to her seat.

"His name was Steve Trevor. The first man I met." Diana started, but wondered if she should continue talking about him. She still finished her thought anyways. "The first man I ever loved."

Steve looked at her with sympathetic eyes, wondering if she would ever love a man like she did with him. That was a first time in awhile Diana said his name out loud.

"He died. Steve told me he loved me, but I couldn't hear him since I was losing the battle with Ares so, I never said it back. He sacrificed himself to save millions of people. Steve Trevor died a hero."

"I'm so sorry, Diana. You still must be hurting from his passing." He grabbed her warm hand to comfort her. She nodded.

"Yeah, but I got this job here. It was like me starting over, which was something I wanted to do. I made good friends here like Stark, Dr. Erskine, and Peggy. I went out more and that's when I met Bucky at a restaurant, and he asked me out, but I rejected him." Diana laughed. "But we remained good friends."
